When the Sun enters expansive Sagittarius, it’s time to open our hearts and souls to all the great opportunities the world has to offer! Sagittarius is a bold Fire sign that loves to travel, have fun, and learn new things, so now is a time to take that trip, read that book, or take that class. It's certainly time to start something fresh.
Luck runs high and optimism rules under the Sagittarius Sun. Rather than focusing on what we can’t do, it’s time to realize all the things we can do. Rise beyond your limits, and go big or go home. Watch out, though - Sagittarius is known as the sign of big truth and big lies. Because this sign is ruled by huge, expansive Jupiter, it’s hard not to exaggerate a little (or a lot) under the Sagittarius Sun.
Mercury is concerned with getting down to the nitty-gritty, and Sagittarius likes looking at life through a broader lens. Because Sagittarius always has its sights set on the future, Mercury’s presence in this sign supports visions of tomorrow. The trick is to use meticulous Mercury’s knack for filling in all the details so the picture you’re selling is the one that actually develops.
Exuberant Sagittarius adds a touch of excitement wherever he goes, which means Mercury in Sagittarius can be a time of enthusiastic words, confident messages, and passionate debates. The key to this transit is to drop your prejudices, but not your reason. In the desire to find the answers to life’s biggest questions, it’s imperative that we appreciate different points of view.
We must all remember to think before we speak while Mercury is in Sagittarius! That’s because things could come flying out of our mouths without checking to see if they’re true, or before considering other’s feelings. We need to triple-check our words during this transit, so we don’t end up coming across as fools, or saying things we don’t really mean...
Sagittarius is represented by the Archer, the explorer, which means our possibilities are endless while Mercury is traveling here! We’re encouraged to broaden our minds and horizons now, making this a great time to start thinking about taking a trip somewhere, going back to school, or starting a new job.

The First Quarter moon is currently 6.6 days old. The next new moon is at 18:23:21, 8 Apr 2024. The next full moon is at 23:51:09, 23 Apr 2024.
Ah, Sagittarius, the archer of the zodiac. Currently under a First Quarter moon which, incidentally, is 6.6 days old. Not that it matters to it. The moon, you see, doesn't get older - it's just there, hanging around in space, doing its thing, oblivious to your human obsession with time, schedules, and aging. I mean, really, who actually cares if it's 6.6 days old or 7 billion years old? But I digress...
This week, dear Sagittarius, much like the misunderstood Marvin, you may feel like you're programmed to understand everything but appreciated by no one. That's just the way the cosmic cookie crumbles sometimes. But cheer up, not everyone can have a brain the size of a planet.
Your fiery nature would make you a great fit for a supernova, but back here on Earth, it'll likely manifest in the form of dynamic ideas and inspiring leadership. It's quite a shame, though, that these ideas will only be appreciated by carbon-based lifeforms with relatively short lifespans.
You may feel an urge to shoot your metaphorical arrow towards new horizons. Just remember, it's a big universe out there, full of mostly nothing. But don't let that discourage you! After all, there's something to be said about the charm of empty space...or so I'm told.
Nevertheless, this is your week to shine, Sagittarius, even if that shine is a mere speck in the grand scale of the cosmos. Forge ahead with optimism, or at least a snarky sense of humor, because we all know the universe has a sick sense of irony.
So, go forth and do something utterly insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Remember to enjoy the little moments, even if they are fleeting in the cosmic calendar. And remember, life isn't about the destination, it's about the journey...a journey that, in your case, is unlikely to involve any spaceships or intergalactic hitchhikers. But hey, one can dream, right?
