The region was in decay as it approached the W limb. Region 3559 (N25W46, Fki/beta-gamma) remained the largest on the disk, but only produced low-level C-class X-ray activity over the past 24 hours. This region was also in gradual decay. Region 3560 (S22W48, Dai/beta) exhibited growth throughout its spots. Newly numbered 3563 (S06E32, Bxo/beta) remained relatively quiet and simple. Possible new spots are beginning to develop on the NE and SE limbs. No Earth-Directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
