The Sun

Solar activity was at low levels. A C9.3 flare occurred at 13/1515 UTC, which was the largest of the period. The origin of this event was from beyond the south west limb, but possibly old AR 3511. Region 3513 (N28W41, Cao/Beta) exhibited signs of decay in its trailing spots, and Region 3514 (N07W36, Dai/Beta) continued to evolve as it gained additional spots and penumbra. Region 3520 (N10W34, Cao/Beta) was numbered this period as it quickly developed, but has been relatively quiet. The remaining active regions were quiet as well, and otherwise unremarkable.

The solar kp index is active, reinforcing retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were indicative of a near-background solar wind regime. Total field averaged near 7 nT, the Bz component fluctuated between +/- 5 nT, and solar wind speeds decreased gradually from ~375 km/s to near 320 km/s. Phi oscillated between positive and negative sectors during the first half of the period, but became predominantly positive thereafter. .Forecast... Periodic weak enhancements are expected through 16 Dec due to positive polarity CH HSS influence. An additional enhancement is possible by midday on 15 Dec due to weak CME influences from a partial halo event on 11 Dec. A further enhancement is likely by early on 16 Dec due to CME influences from a partial halo event on 12 Dec.

There is a 20% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Capricorn

Greetings, fellow stargazers and earthlings! Ready your telescopes and buckle up your spacesuits because we are about to embark on a celestial journey worthy of Captain Kirk himself! There's been a bit of a change in the lunar neighborhood. Your beloved Moon, that huge hunk of cheese in the sky, is currently lounging in the constellation Capricorn. Now, don't get your space socks in a twist, this isn't a disaster like Spock forgetting his Vulcan nerve pinch. But it could be a tad... interesting. The Moon, bless her, is a mere 371,196.223010592 kilometers away. I know, still out of reach for the average Joe's morning commute, but in the grand scheme of the universe, she's practically our next-door neighbor. And I'm sure you'd agree that it's always good to keep an eye on the neighbors, especially when they're in Capricorn! Why, you ask? Well, dear friends, Capricorn is the sign of the industrious goat, the ambitious climber, the stubborn mule. It's like if Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory decided to take up mountain climbing - a rather amusing, yet potentially terrifying prospect. Now, our darling Moon is bathing in all that Capricorn energy, which means we're all going to feel a bit like we've been hit with a dose of Leonard's experimental "motivation serum." You might find yourself developing an uncanny ability to organize your comic book collection, a sudden urge to conquer your to-do list, or even an inexplicable desire to climb the nearest mountain... or at least a sizable hill. You may also find that you're as stubborn as a Ferengi trying to haggle over a gold-pressed latinum deal. So, gear up, astro-nuts, the Moon in Capricorn is upon us! Remember to channel your inner Picard: embrace the challenge, lead with wisdom, and for heaven's sake, don't forget to enjoy the ride. Because, as Q would say, "All good things must come to an end." And this astrological event is no exception. Until then, may the force... err... live long and prosper!

Mercury

Mercury is in Capricorn

Mercury is retrograde at 08 Cap 24' 18", moving backwards at 0.18 degrees per day, and is 117614975km away and approaching.

Mercury Is In Capricorn

"Final Frontier Forecast: Mercury in Capricorn" Greetings, interstellar voyagers! Our celestial communicator, Mercury, is currently doing the backstroke through the pragmatic constellation of Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking. "What does this mean for me?", "Does it involve Romulans?", "Is this why my replicator has been acting up?" Well, let me break it down for you, Starfleet style. Firstly, no, this probably won't resolve your dispute with the Borg Collective. But, it might just help you negotiate that peace treaty with the Klingons. You see, Capricorn is the Grand Poobah of the zodiac. It's all about success, efficiency and a dash of ruthless ambition. Think of it as the Ferengi of the star signs, but without the questionable fashion choices. While Mercury is in Capricorn, we're all a bit more motivated to think and act logically, like our favorite Vulcan, Spock. Your thoughts become clear as a Trill symbiont - you'll find it easier to delineate between what's essential and what's... well... Tribbles. Your communication becomes more precise than a phaser set to stun, reducing the chances of any miscommunication or time wasted in the holodeck. One of the key advantages of Mercury in Capricorn is the ability to build ideas. Consider it your own personal Chief Engineer La Forge helping you piece together your neural pathways like a starship schematics. Once your ideas have solidified into a tangible form, it's much easier to take the Captain's chair and make them a reality. However, it's not all warp speed ahead when Mercury moves into Capricorn. We must be mindful of our tone when interacting with others. Capricorn, like a stern Starfleet admiral, has a keen awareness of hierarchies. Conversations can easily turn from constructive to controlling faster than a warp core breach. We all think we have the best strategy during Mercury in Capricorn, but if we spend too much time playing Captain and not enough time assembling an effective away team, we won't be getting much of anything done. So buckle up, cadets. Use this celestial event to set your phasers to 'succeed' and boldly go where no one has gone before. Or at the very least, maybe finally get that pesky replicator fixed.

Venus

Venus is in Scorpio

Venus Is In Scorpio

Alright, folks, put on your deep-sea diving goggles, because Venus is currently doing the backstroke in the enigmatic waters of Scorpio. As if relationships weren't as complicated as a Rubik's cube already, this planetary partnership is going to have us craving deep connections like a chocoholic in Willy Wonka's factory. Venus, our friendly neighborhood matchmaker, usually likes to keep things light and breezy much like a rom-com. But with Scorpio in the mix, the plot thickens like a sci-fi thriller. It’s like we’ve traded in our beach reads for some Dostoevsky novels, folks. You know those pesky thoughts you've been brushing under the rug of your mind? Well, they're about to pop up like intrusive notifications from an overly clingy app. It's time to roll up the metaphorical sleeves and do some emotional plumbing. Oh, what fun! And just when you thought it couldn't get any more intense, Venus in Scorpio also throws a spotlight on power dynamics and financial matters. Ever wondered what your partner spends on those secret Amazon orders? Well, brace yourself, it's about to be less secret than Area 51. But fear not, my celestial voyagers, there's a silver lining in this cosmic cloud. All this intensity is like relationship boot camp. Sure, it's tough, and you might get emotionally muddy, but you'll come out the other side with a bond stronger than superglue. So, buckle up, folks. We're in for a ride that's more rollercoaster than carousel. Remember, it's not about surviving the storm, it's about learning to dance in the rain... or in this case, the cosmic downpour!

Interstellar Adventures with Mars in Sagittarius

Hey, stargazers! So, Mars is doing a little cosmic jig in Sagittarius, and we're all invited to the party. Imagine Mars, our fiery, red-faced, iron-hearted warrior, donning a fancy archer costume, borrowing Cupid's bow and arrow, and gallivanting about with a gleam in its eye. That, my friends, is the vibe we’re dealing with.

This cosmic combo has us seeing double rainbows where others only see a rainy day. The world just got a whole lot bigger and brighter, like someone turned the dial up on the universe's saturation. We're not just dreaming of castles in the sky; we're drafting up blueprints and gathering the bricks.

But heed my warning, fellow space cadets, too much fire in the belly can lead to cosmic heartburn. You see, with Mars in Sagittarius, we're likely to jump headfirst into black holes without checking if there's a bouncy castle at the other end. Be bold, be brave, but remember - even astronauts carry a map!

Mars in Sagittarius is an open-minded, truth-seeking missile. It's about stuffing your brain with wisdom like a pinata at a knowledge fiesta. It's about connecting with different worlds, understanding multifaceted realities, and realizing that life isn't a one-size-fits-all spacesuit.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "Is this the perfect time for a trip to Mars?" Well, maybe. But remember, we're not talking about a simple jaunt to the nearest celestial body. This is about broadening your horizons, about living large, about finding the extraordinary in the ordinary! So, whether you're jetting off to a distant galaxy or just exploring the uncharted territories of your local library, make sure you pack an open mind and a thirst for adventure.

So, strap on your space boots, folks! It's time to journey into the great unknown, with Mars in Sagittarius as our cosmic compass. Who knows what alien wonders await?

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter is retrograde at 06 Tau 04' 13", moving backwards at 0.06 degrees per day, and is 635256517km away and receding.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Oh, stardust souls, get ready to fire up those cosmic calculators because Jupiter, the celestial Santa Claus, has just rolled into Taurus, the zodiac's most unmovable lawn ornament. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Jupiter is 635,189,745.282800198km away and in retrograde, how will this affect my Netflix binge-watching schedule?" Well, my dear interstellar inquisitors, let's break it down. Jupiter, being the great cosmic guru, is all about deep thoughts and expanding horizons, while Taurus, bless its stubborn little heart, prefers the comforts of home and a good meal over any grand adventures. So, when these two come together, it's like a wise old monk moving into a five-star resort. The monk learns to appreciate the thread count in his bedsheets while the resort gets a spiritual makeover. This celestial combination is like hitting the cosmic jackpot. It's like the Universe handing us the blueprints to our dreams and saying, "Here you go. Now stop procrastinating and start building!" With Jupiter's ambition and Taurus' persistence, we've got all the tools we need to turn our bucket list into a 'been there, done that' list. But let's not forget, Taurus is a little bit of a hedonist. When Jupiter, the planet of expansion, meets Taurus, the sign that never met a chocolate cake it didn't like, we might start mistaking our wants for needs. So while you're making it rain prosperity and success, remember to keep an eye on that waistline and bank balance. In short, folks, Jupiter in Taurus is like having your cake, eating it too, and then realizing you have the recipe to bake another one. So roll up those sleeves and get ready to mix some cosmic batter! Your destiny is waiting, and it's delicious.

Saturn

Saturn is in Pisces

Saturn is prograde at 01 Pis 52' 05", moving at 0.07 degrees per day, and is 1501558576km away and receding.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Just Keep Saturn, Just Keep Saturn

Alright, folks, gather 'round. We've got Saturn, the cosmic taskmaster, playing hooky in Pisces' dreamland. Imagine your grade school principal suddenly deciding to chaperone a field trip to Disneyland. Yep, that's about the level of fun we're looking at here.

Saturn in Pisces is like your nerdy friend who insists on bringing a protractor to a paintball game. It’s all about grounding your dreams into reality. Ever daydreamed of penning a sci-fi novel or starting a cat cafe for alien enthusiasts? Now's the time to get out your notepad, because Saturn's about to drop some wisdom bombs on you. It's like getting life coaching from Mr. Spock, but with fewer Vulcan nerve pinches.

But, let's be real, Saturn in Pisces isn't always a cosmic carnival ride. It's a bit like having your favourite daydreams scrutinized by Sherlock Holmes under a microscope. Not exactly comfortable, right? But remember: no amount of "No Trespassing" signs will keep this celestial father figure from barging into your imaginative playground. So, get ready to roll out the welcome mat and listen up. His advice might just be the reality check you didn't know you needed.

And here's a heads-up: with all this activity happening in dreamland, you might find yourself more restless than a caffeinated squirrel. So, it's time to channel your inner monk. Meditate, take a stroll through the forest, deep breathe, nap like a pro (with a dream journal on standby), and get some solid shut-eye. You might want to hit the sack a bit earlier to give your brain some downtime. Trust me, the deep wisdom being dished out during this transit is worth losing a few episodes of your latest Netflix binge.

So, folks, as Saturn continues its prograde journey through the realm of Pisces, don't fret. Just remember the immortal words of Dory in Finding Nemo: "Just keep swimming!" Or, in this case, just keep Saturn.

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 19 Tau 52' 42", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 2808769778km away and receding.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Hallo, cosmic comrades! Grab your tie-dye lab coats and peace sign telescopes because we're taking a psychedelic trip deep into the vast nebula of astrological enlightenment and guess what? Uranus is in Taurus, baby! Now, I see some of you rolling your eyes, muttering, "Not Uranus jokes again!" But fear not, my stardust siblings, this isn't about interstellar whoopee cushions. This is serious...ly funny business! Now, let's talk about your Taurean tendencies. You love stability, right? Your perfect Friday night is a rerun marathon of "Star Trek," pizza with no weird toppings, and maybe experimenting with quantum physics (for kicks). Change? Not your thing! You'd rather stick to your binary stars than deal with any astral anomalies. But folks, Uranus didn't get the memo. Uranus is the cosmic equivalent of that wild cousin who shows up uninvited to family gatherings and starts discussions about parallel universes. It's all about shaking things up! Now, it's crashing into Taurus' chill-out zone, and it's like mixing matter and antimatter. Boom! The fiscal front could look like an episode of the "Twilight Zone" with Uranus in Taurus. Think new forms of space currency (Galactic credits, anyone?), dramatic disruptions in banking (like interstellar wire transfers), and a rollercoaster ride for housing and stock markets (as unpredictable as alien weather patterns). On a personal level, this cosmic clash is your wake-up call from the Matrix of materialism. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, mortgages — they're like black holes sucking up your hard-earned cosmic coins. Uranus is here to kickstart a financial revolution, breaking the chains of monetary monotony. Resisting change? That's like trying to stop a supernova with a water gun. Not happening! So, buckle up, embrace the chaos, and remember: the changes we make during this period could lead us to a better universe where stability reigns supreme. As they say in Starfleet, "Resistance is futile." Enjoy the ride, space cadets!

Neptune in Pisces: The Cosmic Mashup of the Century

Alright, stargazers, buckle up your celestial seatbelts because Neptune and Pisces are hooking up, and it's gonna be a wild ride. Neptune, that big blue gas giant (no, not your Uncle Larry after Thanksgiving dinner), is currently chilling in the sign of Pisces. Now, I know what you're thinking - "What's the big deal? Isn't Neptune always in some sign or another?" Well, yes, smarty pants, but this is different!

Pisces is the quintessential dreamer of the zodiac, while Neptune is the planet of, well, dreams. So, when they get together, it's like a cosmic dream team! This is where the veil between our world and the mystical one becomes as thin as my patience for flat-Earthers.

With Neptune in Pisces, we gain the ability to see things we normally wouldn't, like the insignificance of parking in the right spot at the grocery store or why we hoard so many mismatched socks. In other words, petty differences become as relevant as a DVD rewinder.

This cosmic combo is also a call to action! It's time to dust off your dreams, shake out your ideas, and step into the spotlight on the grand stage of life. Got a talent for whistling the Star Wars theme? A knack for knitting cat sweaters? Now's the time to share it with the world!

And for you spiritual folks out there, this is a golden opportunity to dive deeper into your beliefs. Start that online course in crystal healing you've been eyeing, or finally build that zen garden in your backyard. And remember, you've got the energy of Neptune in Pisces behind you, cheering you on like a cosmic cheerleader.

So, in the immortal words of Buzz Lightyear, "To Infinity...and Beyond!" Or in this case, to Neptune and Pisces!

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Beep boop! Greetings, earthlings and intergalactic travelers! Let's chat about that far-out dude, Pluto, who's currently chilling in the ambitious realm of Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Pluto isn't even a planet anymore!" True, it's been demoted, but let's not forget its impact. After all, when you get kicked out of the party, you tend to make some noise on the way out, right? So let's talk about this cosmic event. First, picture Pluto as the Star Wars Death Star, lurking in the distance, while Capricorn is more like a group of Stormtroopers - disciplined, goal-orientated, and a wee bit cold. Together, they're teaming up for an epic space-opera of transformation and power. Now, don't get your lightsabers in a twist! This alignment isn't a signal to start blasting everything in sight. Remember... "With great power comes great responsibility." Or was that Spiderman? Anyway, back to astrology! With Pluto in Capricorn, you might feel an urge to shake up your world, like Yoda messing with Luke's training schedule. You may find yourself questioning old beliefs, tossing aside worn-out habits, or even craving a new hairstyle (maybe Princess Leia buns?). Just remember, amidst all this cosmic restructuring, it's easy to turn into Darth Vader, dismissing the ideas of others quicker than Han shot Greedo. So, try to channel your inner Obi-Wan, stay open-minded, and embrace the wisdom of different galaxies. In short, my star-studded friends, during this transit, it's time to boldly destroy what no longer serves you, and create something as fantastic and awe-inspiring as the Star Wars universe itself. So, fire up your X-wings, and may the force (and the far-out vibes of Pluto in Capricorn) be with you! Beep boop!

The Sun

Sun Square Neptune

Confusion, uncertainty, and delusions of grandeur characterize this transit. Be alert for deception. Avoid becoming the martyr today just because your self-confidence may be low. Don't buy into every sob story that comes your way and don't play the "poor, poor pitiful me" game. Be careful with contracts. In general, be prepared for any kind of possible misunderstanding. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Neptune often struggle with a desire to be something special or to experience something more than the ordinary. They are day-dreamers and idealists. It is easy for these people to trust others, even (and perhaps especially) people who might seem from the outside looking in as unsavory types. They are looking to identify with something beyond what is normally expected of people. Most have in common a childhood that didn’t help the natives direct or define their lives. Perhaps the early family life was lacking in supervision or clearly defined rules. A father figure may have been absent or distant and ineffective. Many people with these aspects have a glorified image of their fathers. Whether the image is very positive or very negative (or if it swings between these extremes), the image is not very clear or rational. Whatever the case may be, these people struggle with defining who they are. They might gravitate towards the “wrong people”, or get in with the “wrong crowd” in an attempt to define who they are. They might be susceptible to being taken advantage of by others, especially by men or authority figures. They can be easily led astray by peculiar desires or self-destructive habits. In order to add a greater-than-ordinary dimension of experience to their lives that helps them to feel special and important, they might be attracted to Neptune-ruled behaviors, such as secret affairs, drugs, or other escapist behaviors. In some way, these people feel a strong urge to glamorize their role in the world. In extreme cases, the natives are completely deluded. However, in most cases, there is simply some confusion about the past (such as remembering childhood experiences in ways that are far removed from reality), and a tendency to daydream about being someone more “important” than they assume they are. They may struggle with early conditioning that made them feel tossed aside or neglected in some way, and certainly not directed and supported. These people are very sensitive, especially with regards to any real or imagined blows to their ego. If the natal chart shows a strong sense of reality and a robust mind (Mercury and Saturn well-placed, for example), the negative interpretations of this aspect are less extreme. Still, the natives are likely to recognize at some point in their lives that they have a tendency to engage in escapist and self-destructive fantasies and/or habits. It is useful to be able to connect these behaviors with their probable source, which is likely to be a weakly-defined ego and identity in childhood. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Cameron Diaz; Oppositions – Sheena Easton.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
