The Sun

Solar activity returned to low levels with only C-class flare activity. Regions 3506 (N15W24, Bxo/Beta), 3507 (N08E70, Hsx/Alpha), and 3508 (S14E65, Hsx/Alpha) were all numbered this period, but were relatively quiet. Region 3502 (N14W51, Dao/Beta) exhibited evolution as it began to gain penumbra in its trailing spots while producing a C6.4 flare at 29/0803 UTC, which was the largest of the period. Region 3500 (S18W18, Esc, Beta-Gamma) continued to be the largest, most magnetically complex grouping of spots on the visible disk as it grew in overall length while gaining additional spots in its intermediate region, and was responsible for multiple low level C-class flares. Dimming was noted in its vicinity in SUVI 195 angstroms around 29/1512 UTC. However, no corresponding visible CME has been noted in the available coronagraph imagery as of the time of this writing.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were at near nominal levels. As measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, total field ranged 3-5 nT, the Bz component near neutral or northward, and solar wind speeds averaged just under or at 450 km/s. Phi was predominantly positive.

There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 35% chance of a minor event, a 25% chance of a moderate event, and a 5% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Cancer

Greetings cosmic voyagers! Hold on to your telescopes because we're about to embark on a one-way ticket to the lunar landscape. The moon, our celestial night light, has decided to take a vacation in the homely abode of Cancer. It's like it's heading back to its momma's house for some comfort food and a dose of nostalgia. And mind you, it is at a 'so close yet so far' distance of 392,664.025524388 km away. Can't really hitchhike that, can you? Now, if you're a Cancer, you might be wondering if this means you'll start acting all moony-eyed, or perhaps turn into a werewolf. Well, fear not, fellow stargazers! You won't grow fangs, but you might find yourself feeling a tad more sentimental than usual. It's like binge-watching your favorite old-school sitcoms and marveling at how they don't make 'em like that anymore. If you're not a Cancer? Well, don't think you're getting off easy! This moon transit is going to have us all feeling like we've stepped into a sci-fi time machine. We'll be channeling our inner Sheldon Cooper, introspecting about our past choices, and maybe even organizing our comic book collections alphabetically... or by awesomeness. So, whether you're a Cancer or just an innocent bystander in this cosmic journey, remember to pack some tissues. It's okay to get a little emotional under the Cancer moon's influence. Just remember to balance out any lunar lunacy with a healthy dose of reality. Maybe do a Sudoku puzzle or re-watch Firefly for the zillionth time (Yes, it never gets old!). In conclusion, the moon is in Cancer, folks, and it's playing the nostalgia card hard. So let's embrace it, roll with it and remember - even in the vast expanse of this universe, there's nothing wrong with feeling a little homesick. So long for now, space cowboys!

Mercury

Mercury is in Sagittarius

Mercury Is In Sagittarius

Greetings, celestial voyagers! It's time to strap on your cosmic jet packs because Mercury, our galactic messenger and planetary smarty pants, has decided to drop anchor in the constellation of Sagittarius. Now, if you're not well versed in astrological techno-babble, allow me to translate. Mercury, at a staggering distance of 165605898.471745968km away (give or take a few astral miles), is currently shimmying in a prograde motion. That's astrologer speak for "it's moving forward". But let's not get bogged down in the technicalities. So, what does this mean for all of us down here on terra firma? Well, imagine if Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones had a baby, and that baby happened to be a planet. Yes, that's right. With detail-oriented Mercury bunking up with future-focused Sagittarius, we've got a planetary duo that's all about solving mysteries and embarking on grand adventures. Now, Sagittarius is a bit of a party animal. With Mercury in Sagittarius, expect your words to be infused with a dash of excitement, a sprinkle of confidence, and maybe just a pinch of heated debate. The catch? Remember to pack your reason along with your enthusiasm. No one likes a know-it-all who can't back up their claims. Here's another thing, my star-studded friends. When Mercury takes a vacation in Sagittarius, we all need to pause, take a deep breath, and think before we speak. Why? Because Sagittarius has a tendency to shoot arrows of words without checking if they're fact-checked or if they might hurt someone's feelings. So, triple check your words, folks! And finally, with Sagittarius being the ultimate cosmic explorer, the world (and the universe) is your oyster during this transit. Dreaming of a vacation to Mars? Go for it! Considering going back to school to study quantum physics or herbology? Now's the time! Fancy a new job as a professional unicorn wrangler? Why the heck not? To sum it up, embrace the fun, the adventure, and the quest for knowledge during this transit. And remember, the stars are always there, twinkling their silent guidance... even during the day when you can't see them. Happy voyaging!

Pluto

Venus

Venus is in Libra

Venus is prograde at 24 Lib 42' 38", moving at 1.16 degrees per day, and is 144995273km away and receding.

Venus Is In Libra

Well, well, well, star gazers! If you've been feeling like your love life is more akin to a scientific experiment gone wrong than a romantic comedy, I've got some stellar news for you. Venus, our cosmic queen of love and beauty, has sashayed into the harmonious sign of Libra - and she's not wearing her lab coat, but rather, a gorgeous flowing gown! Now, I know we're all about science here, but let's not forget that even science has its limits. No need to calculate the 144945184.104121149km distance between Earth and Venus when the planet of love is in Libra! That's because love is absolutely in the air, and I don't mean the kind that requires a hazmat suit. While Venus is grooving in Libra, relationships become as light and lovely as a helium atom. Libra, the starry peacekeeper, would rather ignore the laws of physics than rock the boat. So, if you've been engaging in more arguments than a physics debate club, brace yourself for a drama break. Rudeness is as welcome as a comet in the face during this transit. But remember, folks, love in the time of Venus in Libra isn't a 50/50 situation, it's 100/100. If your relationship feels as imbalanced as a seesaw with a hippo on one end and a mouse on the other, it'll stick out like a rogue planet in this transit. But worry not, Venus lends us the grace to work out the kinks in our cosmic connections. Venus and Libra aren't just about romance, they're also the universe's top fashion consultants. While Venus is in Libra, we're drawn to all things breezy and beautiful, much like a moth to a flame (minus the tragic ending). Whether it's updating your look or decking out your space, a touch of beauty can give you a confidence boost that's brighter than a supernova. So, as Venus dances in Libra, remember to love with all your heart, cooperate like a well-oiled machine, strive for peace like a stubborn pacifist, and live lightly like a feather on the wind. Embrace this transit and who knows? You might just find that love is a science worth mastering.

Mars in Sagittarius: The Space Cowboy Rides Again

Okay, stargazers, buckle up. Mars, the cosmic troublemaker, has just made its fiery entrance into the freewheeling realm of Sagittarius. Picture a celestial cowboy, riding a rocket instead of a horse, with the wild west being the vastness of space itself, and you've got the right idea. It's as if the universe decided to jazz things up with a little intergalactic rodeo.

This cosmic shift is taking us on a joyride through the great beyond. As Mars blazes through Sag, we're all getting a supersized helping of the Archer’s endless optimism and boundary-breaking vision. We start seeing opportunities where we saw only obstacles. The world suddenly becomes less like an unsolvable quantum equation and more like a friendly game of Tetris.

And that's not all. With Mars in Sagittarius, we're not just dreamers, we're doers. We see the future, and we're ready to take a quantum leap. However, while we're gazing at the stars, we may trip over the coffee table. So remember folks, keep one foot on Earth while your head is in the clouds.

But there's a bit of a cosmic caution. Mars in Sagittarius could make us impulsive, like trying to invent a time machine on a Monday morning. Remember, moderation is key. Going full throttle at warp speed might be exciting, but let's not rip a hole in the space-time continuum, okay?

Mars in Sagittarius is about exploration and expansion. Whether it's absorbing new knowledge like a sponge, or questioning the secrets of the cosmos, this is the time to stretch your horizons and reach for the stars. Remember, the galaxy is your playground, and the answers are out there, just waiting to be discovered like hidden Easter eggs in a video game.

And finally, if you've been itching for an adventure, now's the time to pack your bags. I'm not talking about a beach vacation, but a journey that expands your mind and heart. But remember, you don't need a spaceship to explore. Open a book, take a course, chat with people from diverse backgrounds. It’s all about broadening your horizons. So, get ready to blast off into uncharted territories, fellow astro-nerds. The Mars in Sag

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter is retrograde at 07 Tau 10' 37", moving backwards at 0.1 degrees per day, and is 614091793km away and receding.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

When Big Daddy Jupiter Meets Sensible Taurus

Alright, buckle up, space cadets. I hope you've got your sensible shoes on because Jupiter has just parked its gigantic gaseous self in the steadfast field of Taurus. This is like having your grandpa, who's full of wisdom and bad dad jokes, move into your meticulously planned zen garden. Things are about to get real... interesting.

Jupiter, the galactic guru of wisdom, is all about those deep, existential thoughts. It's that voice in your head at 3am asking, "If we're all stardust, why can't I just float away when my boss yaps about deadlines?" Meanwhile, Taurus is as chill as an ice cube in an Antarctic winter. It's the slow-burning candle of the zodiac, reminding us that the answers we seek are already chilling out in our brains, probably next to that forgotten algebra formula from high school.

So what happens when these two cosmic entities tango? It's a bit like Frodo embarking on his quest to Mordor, but instead of a ring, he's carrying a well-thought-out business plan. It's about making those dreams a reality, one hobbit step at a time. This cosmic mashup whispers sweet nothings like "trust the process" and "it's the journey, not the destination," but with more spreadsheets.

Now, if you're thinking this will be a financial windfall, you might be right. Jupiter is the Vegas slot machine of the solar system, while Taurus is your frugal aunt who still has her first paycheck. If played right, you could end up with a satisfying "ka-ching!" But remember, Taurus also has a taste for the finer things in life. It's the zodiac's Marie Antoinette, minus the beheading. Don't get carried away and mistake your wants for needs. It's all fun and games until you've ordered another flamingo-shaped pool float.

So, while Jupiter is doing the cha-cha in Taurus, remember to stay grounded, keep it real, and for the love of Carl Sagan, keep track of your flamingo floats. Happy stargazing, folks!

Saturn

Saturn is in Pisces

Saturn is prograde at 01 Pis 05' 45", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 1467856186km away and receding.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Great Scott, folks! Saturn has hitched a cosmic ride and landed in the mystical realm of Pisces. Now, you might be thinking, "Saturn in Pisces? That's about as compatible as me and Biff Tannen!" But hold onto your flux capacitors, because this could be a wild ride! Saturn, that old taskmaster, is pulling up it's star-spangled bootstraps and diving into the daydreamy depths of Pisces. It's like trying to program your DeLorean when you've only got a wacky flux capacitor and a dream. But don't worry, Marty McFly got back to 1985, didn't he? Now, you might be sensing a disturbance in the space-time continuum. That's just Saturn, rummaging through your deepest dreams like Doc Brown in a junkyard. It might feel like someone's reading your secret diary, but fear not! Saturn isn't here to embarrass you; it's here to help you build that hoverboard you've been dreaming about. Sure, having Saturn poking around in your subconscious might make you more restless than George McFly at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. But remember, it's all part of the process. Just like how Marty had to ensure his parents fell in love to secure his existence, you need to embrace this celestial turbulence to secure your dreams. So, practice some deep breaths, grab your dream journal, and get ready for some cosmic coaching. And hey, if you're feeling overwhelmed, just remember: nobody calls you chicken. You're a time-traveling rockstar navigating the cosmos. So buckle up, aim for the stars, and don't forget...where we're going, we don't need roads.

Uranus in Taurus: A Galactic Roller Coaster

Alright folks, time to buckle up your cosmic seat belts because the big blue gas giant, Uranus, is waltzing right into the backyard of Taurus. Now, imagine an eccentric uncle crashing a very traditional tea party. That's exactly what's happening here in the starry skies! Our bull-headed Taurus, who loves its comfort zone and security blanket more than Sheldon Cooper loves his "Spot", is about to get a celestial wake-up call.

Now, you might think, "Hey, I like my life as steady as the plot of a 90s sitcom. Why the sudden changes?" Well, remember that one time when the Doctor regenerated into a woman? Shocking at first, but it turned out to be brilliant, didn't it? That's how Uranus rolls, baby!

And let's talk about money, because that's Taurus' favorite song. With Uranus spinning in the DJ booth, expect some wicked remixes. We're talking Bitcoin on steroids, banking systems doing the salsa, and stock markets taking a rollercoaster ride to Mars and back. In short, it's going to be a financial rave party!

On a personal note, Uranus in Taurus is like Marie Kondo on a mission. It's urging us to declutter our lives from the shackles of material possessions. So, if you're drowning in debts, stuck in the quicksand of credit card interests, or chained by rent and mortgages, now's the time to break free. Think of this phase as a cosmic escape room. It's tricky, yes, but oh-so liberating!

Remember, change is as inevitable as a plot twist in a Steven Moffat script. So, don’t be a weeping angel, blink and embrace the change! Trust me, Uranus is not here to create chaos; it's here to lead us to a more stable and nerdy universe. And the changes made during this period will stick around longer than the Doctor's love for fezzes. So, are you ready for the ride?

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 24 Pis 53' 58", moving backwards at 0 degrees per day, and is 4427994589km away and receding.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Alright, stardust siblings, brace yourselves! Neptune, the blue behemoth of the cosmos, has just shimmyed its way into Pisces, and let me tell you - it's not just there for the intergalactic hors d'oeuvres. No, no, this big blue gas giant, which is a whopping 4,427,929,116.538892746 km away (give or take a few hundred thousand kilometers - space GPS isn't perfect), decided to moonwalk its way into retrograde! Imagine, a planet that massive doing the electric slide in reverse! Now, what does this mean for us mere mortals? Well, when Neptune takes its cosmic dip in the dreamy pool of Pisces, it’s like someone turned on the high beams in the fog. Suddenly, all those petty differences and squabbles that seemed so important become as irrelevant as a chocolate teapot. We get a clear vision of unity, a celestial post-it note reminding us that we're all made of the same stuff. And let me tell you, that stuff is star-stuff, so shine on, you crazy diamonds! This cosmic alignment is basically the universe's way of saying, "Hey, how about we all just chill out and work together?" So, you might find yourself contemplating what you can bring to the potluck of life. Maybe you've got a killer recipe for peace, or perhaps you've been dreaming up a new invention that runs on love and recycled coffee grounds. Whatever it is, now's the time to whip it out and share it with the world. For all you aspiring mystics and wizards out there, it's the perfect time to dive headfirst into that spiritual path you've been flirting with. Set up that zen garden in the corner of your living room, or finally start that yoga YouTube channel you've been thinking about. The energy of Neptune in Pisces is like your personal cheerleader, pom-poms and all, for sharing your spiritual discoveries with the world. So remember, folks, while Neptune might be billions of kilometers away, its energy is as close as your next breath. Embrace this time of unity, exploration, and understanding. And if you're feeling lost, just remember - even at its most retrograde, Neptune still knows how to do the electric slide.

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Well, grab your telescopes and strap on your moon boots, folks! Pluto's done a cosmic twist and shimmied its way into Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Pluto's not even a planet anymore!" Ah, but in the dandy world of astrology, we still consider this icy dwarf a big player. Now, let me tell you something about Pluto and Capricorn. They're like that intense power couple you went to high school with - you know, the ones who were planning world domination instead of prom. So, when Pluto's got its groove on in the Capricorn disco, we're all in for a serious hustle. But wait! Before we start carving our ambitions into the nearest monolith, let's remember that this celestial tango might make us a wee bit intolerant of other people’s ideas. It's like trying to convince a Trekkie that Star Wars is better. (Pro tip: Don’t do it!) Now, here comes the fun part: Pluto's also the universal waste disposal unit. It's out here on its distant elliptical orbit saying, "Hey, those rotten habits you've got? Toss 'em my way!" Yes, there might be a bit of cosmic carnage, but hey, one person’s space junk is another dwarf planet’s treasure. So, as Pluto pirouettes through Capricorn, let's embrace some cosmic spring cleaning. Clear out the cobwebs, chuck out the chaff, and keep an eye out for alien life forms. Just remember, folks - in the great void of space, no one can hear you scream... or sing show tunes in the shower. Whichever floats your spaceship! And that, star gazers, is your interstellar weather report. Tune in next time when we delve into why Mercury in retrograde doesn't mean your tech's about to go on the fritz!

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Conjunct Mars

You should have lots of energy and vitality today. Go out and get some exercise. Be careful not to get into arguments with your superiors or with people in authority, like policemen. Avoid confrontations that involve your ego. Instead, channel the energy and potential hostility into something creative like your favorite hobby. The important thing is to express yourself in a constructive manner. How about playing in the park with a group of children? Do not overexert yourself or put too much strain on your heart. This means controlling your temper. Anger is one of the hardest things on your heart. Don't lay out in the sun too long. You may burn easier today than normal. Watch yourself around the stove or anything hot. Focus on being humble. Put your ego in the backseat.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
