The Sun

Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3423 (N16W58, Eko/Beta) continued to be the largest AR on the visible solar disk, while undergoing slight decay in its intermediate spots. This AR was the culprit for the largest flares of the period, a C5.6/SF flare at 12/2200 UTC and a C5.5/SF flare at 12/0810 UTC. Regions 3425 (N23W27, Eao/Beta) and 3430 (S17W33, Dao/Beta) underwent slight growth as well, but were relatively quiet. Region 3429 (N10E18, Eai/Beta-Gamma) gained in spots while beginning to show signs of developing penumbra in its intermediate region. This AR was responsible low-level C-class flare activity with a C1.9 flare at 13/1502 UTC. New spots were observed just southwest of AR 3431, but they remained unnumbered at this time as we await USAF observatory reports.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were indicative of transient influences coupled with weak, positive polarity CH HSS influences. Total field gradually weakened from highs of 12-13 nT to 6-7 nT by the periods end. The Bz component was mostly +/- 5 nT with upper end southward deflections reaching -9 nT. Solar wind speeds underwent a steady, yet modest increase from ~400 km/s to a peak of ~447 km/s. Phi was predominantly positive with brief excursions into a negative solar sector.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 10% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Virgo

Alright, cosmic kittens, gather 'round because the Moon has slipped into Virgo, and it's 405,384.346177557km away. Yes, I've precisely measured it. Why? Because Virgo would want it that way! Now, let's talk about what this means for you. You know Virgo, right? The meticulous, organized, health-conscious sign of the zodiac? Well, with the moon in Virgo, it's like the universe is saying, "Hey, you! Yeah, you with the pizza slice and pile of laundry! Get your act together!" It's all about self-improvement and tidying up our messy corners, both literally and metaphorically. But remember, this is the Moon we're talking about. Our lovely, glowing nightlight. She rules over emotions, so brace yourself for feeling like Marie Kondo just took over your emotional closet. You might find yourself wanting to declutter your feelings — you know, only keep those which truly "spark joy". And yes, I know you're wondering, "Gwen, how does the exact distance of the Moon factor into this?" Well, my star-struck friend, good question! That precise measurement, 405384.346177557km? That's how much space you should probably put between yourself and any drama or negativity. Trust me, the Virgo Moon doesn't have time for that nonsense. So, grab your broom, roll up your sleeves, and start sweeping away those metaphorical cobwebs. And maybe tackle that mountain of laundry while you're at it. After all, cleanliness is next to godliness, and Virgo is practically celestial royalty. Remember, this is a time for healing, organizing, and generally being a bit of a neat freak. So go forth, cosmic voyagers, and let your freak flag fly... as long as it's neatly folded and color-coordinated first!

Mercury in Virgo - The Nerd's Guide to Celestial High Jinks

Alright, my Astrological Avengers, Mercury has taken a cosmic U-turn and is now in Virgo - the Hermione Granger of the Zodiac. Prepare for precision, efficiency, and a sudden allergy to white lies.

Virgo's got this superpower of absorbing information like a sponge and then squeezing out the useless bits. So, while Mercury's hanging out in Virgo, our minds are tuned into 'Super Nerd Mode.' We're talking Sherlock Holmes meets Sheldon Cooper in a battle of wits. Break out those pocket protectors, because our power to analyze information is about to go through the roof!

Productivity is one of the raddest side effects of this planetary combo. Sure, Mercury in Virgo isn't exactly a wild party – unless you consider organizing your sock drawer by color and thickness a rager. But hey, it's not all tedium and to-do lists. Our chances to make serious progress are stellar. We're able to cut through the cosmic clutter and get straight to the point, saving us from the black hole of circular conversations and stagnant ideas.

However, with great nerd powers come some potential pitfalls. We may find ourselves morphing into nitpicking ninjas during this transit, overly focused on seeking out flaws. And no one wants to be the party pooper pointing out that the Death Star's design flaw was actually an inside job (though, technically, it was...). So, it's time to channel our inner Mr. Spock – logical, yes, but always respectful. Remember folks, communicating with tact is the name of the game when Mercury is doing its thing in discerning Virgo.

So, gear up, space cadets. Mercury in Virgo is the ultimate cosmic journey for the intellectual explorer. It’s like a Star Trek convention for your brain, complete with cosplay. Engage!

Venus in Leo: The Celestial Disco Party

Ladies, gentlemen, and celestial beings, hold on to your space helmets because the cosmic disco ball, also known as Venus, has just twirled its way into the constellation of the great celestial lion, Leo. Now, if you thought the cosmos was a quiet, contemplative place, prepare to be blown away by a stellar spectacle of astronomical proportions! When Venus, the planet of love and beauty, enters Leo, it's like a cosmic Broadway show where everything is bathed in gold stardust and set to the beat of ABBA’s Dancing Queen. It's all about expressing love loudly, boldly, and sometimes even with a dramatic hair flip or two. Expect dates that are less "Netflix and chill" and more "skydiving while singing Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On'." During this time, it's not just about receiving love, it's about being adored. And not just 'liked-your-post-on-Facebook' adored, but 'built-a-shrine-in-your-honor' adored. So forget playing it safe, it's time to roll the dice, take the stage, and let your inner diva roar! But remember, while it's fun to bask in the limelight, don't forget to share the stage. After all, even a superstar needs an audience. Now, let's talk about money. With Venus in Leo, it's less about saving for a rainy day and more about making it rain... on yourself and those you care about. Think glitz, glamour, and maybe even a gold-plated rocket ship or two. But remember, all that glitters is not always gold. The real magic lies in the act of giving, whether it's a thoughtful gift or a grand gesture that makes someone else feel like they're floating among the stars. So, as Venus dances through Leo, let this be a time to rekindle your relationships, unleash your playful side, and remember that a life devoid of a little stardust and excitement is, well, just plain boring. After all, the universe didn't create black holes and supernovas just so we could lead dull lives, did it?

Mars

Mars is in Libra

Mars is prograde at 11 Lib 27' 27", moving at 0.65 degrees per day, and is 376658333km away and receding.

Mars Is In Libra

Greetings, fellow celestial voyagers! It's time to buckle up and set coordinates for the constellation of Libra because our fiery friend Mars has just moved into town. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Mars, the planet of aggression in peaceful, balanced Libra? That's like mixing oil and water!" Well, hold onto your telescopes, because this cosmic cocktail might just surprise you. When Mars, the interstellar embodiment of get-up-and-go, enters the realm of Libra, a sign that's more about holding hands than throwing punches, things can get...let's say, interesting. It's like inviting your rowdy cousin to a serene tea ceremony - there might be some porcelain casualties, but hey, it'll definitely be memorable! During this galactic rendezvous, we’re going to be hyper-aware of our relationships. Yes folks, even those social media friends you haven't spoken to since the last Halley's Comet sighting. Suddenly, everything is about balance, harmony, and not upsetting Auntie Universe's apple cart. But here's the kicker - Mars in Libra is like a cosmic diplomat, helping us navigate the minefield of difficult conversations with the grace of an ice-skating flamingo. We're not avoiding the difficult stuff here, we're addressing them head-on with care and consideration. So, don your peace-making capes, my friends, it's time to talk it out! Now, Libra being the sign of justice, this Mars transit also puts on the boxing gloves for fairness and equality. It’s like Batman, but instead of fighting crime, we’re fighting inequality and injustice! However, be warned, indecisiveness could become your kryptonite during this time. Mars is itching to take action while Libra wants to sit back, sip a latte, and contemplate the meaning of life. But remember, if your actions are rooted in love, intention, and fairness, even the universe can't fault your moves. So, as Mars orbits through Libra, let's embrace all the cosmic quirks and oddities this celestial dance brings. Just remember to keep your telescope handy, you wouldn't want to miss any of the interstellar drama!

When Jupiter Parks Itself in Taurus

Well, well, well, if it isn't the grand old Jupiter, all snuggled up with Taurus like an overgrown space teddy bear. Now, let me make this clear, as the planet of wisdom - Jupiter's not just napping. Oh no! It's whispering sweet nothings about spiritual growth and enlightenment into the stubborn ear of Taurus like a cosmic ASMR artist. And guess what? We get to eavesdrop on this interstellar tête-à-tête!

Jupiter in Taurus is like that nerdy friend who drags you to the library on a Friday night (yes, I'm looking at you, Taurus). You might initially grumble, but then you find this amazing sci-fi section and before you know it, bam! You're hooked on the 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'. It's about taking those practical steps towards your dreams, one carefully planned to-do list at a time.

Now, remember, Jupiter is also the 'Bill Gates' of the planetary world – all about good luck and fortune. So, when it decides to hang out with Taurus - the zodiac’s Warren Buffett, sparks are bound to fly. Expect some celestial pyrotechnics of prosperity!

But wait, there's a twist! Taurus, you old hedonist, you. Jupiter's expansive energy might just encourage you to mistake your needs for wants. Remember, that ultra-rare, limited-edition lightsaber replica might seem like a 'need', but trust me, it's not. Watch out for those impulses, even if they come veiled in Yoda's voice saying "Buy you must".

So, while Jupiter is doing the retrograde rumba 645071714.503134966km away, let's all take a moment to tune into the wisdom it's broadcasting. After all, the Force is within us...always!

Saturn In Pisces: The Nerdy, Dreamy Reality Check

Alright folks, grab your telescopes and your deep-space thinking caps! Our ringed buddy Saturn is currently crashing in Pisces' celestial pad, some 1.3 billion kilometers away (give or take a few hundred thousand). This isn't a surprise visit either, Saturn's been retrograding like a hipster on a fixie bike for a while now. But this planetary sleepover means it's time for a cosmic reality check.

Our taskmaster Saturn is known as the 'Master of Rules', but he's not here to spoil the party. He's more like that friend who, when you say you're going to write a book or start a business, gives you a high-five and then hands over a 200-page business plan template. He's the guy who, when you daydream about a world of peace and love, asks how you're planning to negotiate with the warmongers. Yep, he's THAT guy.

But don’t feel intruded upon or get defensive. Saturn's not here to burst bubbles, he's just ensuring our dreams are grounded in reality. Sure, he might barge in uninvited, carrying a vacuum cleaner and a to-do list a mile long, but let's face it, we could all use a little tidying up sometimes. So, before you hang up that "Stay Out of My Room" sign, consider hearing him out first. His advice might be the kick in the pants our daydreams need to become real.

Now, with Saturn's focus on Pisces (the zodiac's dreamy realm), we may feel a bit restless or anxious. It’s like trying to fall asleep after binge-watching alien conspiracy documentaries – unsettling yet oddly fascinating. So, it's time to embrace our inner hippie: meditate, take a moonlit walk, breathe deeply, and maybe even grab a cat nap (just keep that dream journal handy!). Heck, hit the hay early if you need to. The universe won't judge. It’s all about taking the time to really listen to what the cosmos are trying to tell us during this transition.

So, fellow star gazers, let's welcome Saturn's tough love and Piscean dreams. After all, they might just be the cosmic cocktail we need to turn our dreams into reality!

Pluto

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 22 Tau 58' 02", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 2862503786km away and approaching.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Ah, the cosmic dance continues as Uranus, the celestial troublemaker, pirouettes into Taurus, the zodiac's steady Eddie. Uranus, which is currently practicing a rather complicated reverse cha-cha slide - yes, you heard me right, it's in retrograde, loves to mix things up. Now, if you're a Taurus, you might be clutching your pearls right now. Change? You'd rather be caught wearing socks with sandals. Taurus, you see, is the tortoise in Aesop's fable, slow and steady, winning the race with consistency and determination. Uranus is more like the hare, unpredictable, fast, and disruptive. When these two get together, it's a bit like inviting a bull into a china shop, only the bull is also a hyperactive squirrel and the china shop is a stock market filled with delicate crystal balls...of money. Speaking of money, that's Taurus's jam. And Uranus, being the rebellious teen it is, wants to stick it to the man and rewrite the rules. We may see new currencies popping up faster than pimples on a teenager's face, banks could flip their 'Open' sign to 'Undergoing Existential Crisis', and the housing and stock markets might take a rollercoaster ride without a safety belt. On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like the eccentric aunt who encourages you to throw all your material belongings into a bonfire and dance around it chanting about liberation. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, and mortgages are the kindling for this financial freedom fire. So, my star-gazing friends, buckle up! It's time for change, whether we like it or not. But remember, just as the caterpillar thought the world was ending, it turned into a butterfly. The changes we undergo now may seem earth-shaking, but they could also lead to a more stable and prosperous future. And let's be honest, while change might make Taurus as comfortable as a cat in a bathtub, it's also what makes life more interesting than a two-headed alien at a sci-fi convention!

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 26 Pis 24' 56", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 4324069168km away and approaching.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Alright my celestial enthusiasts, grab your telescopes and space snacks because Neptune has decided to chill in Pisces! Now, I know what you're thinking... "Neptune is 4324074328.163367271km away, how does this affect my Friday night plans?" Well, let me break it down for you. Neptune, our favourite far-out planet, known for its love of the mysterious and unifying, has decided to vacation in Pisces, the land of emotions and spirituality. You could say it's like a cosmic Burning Man festival, where everyone is connecting on a profound level. And the best part? We all get VIP passes! But what does this mean for you? Well, imagine suddenly finding your glasses after weeks of squinting at everything. That's right, folks, things are about to get clearer than a high-definition TV on sale during Black Friday. You might find that things you once cared about, like whether your socks match or if your cat is judging your life choices, suddenly seem as insignificant as a single grain of sand on a beach. During this time, it's as though a spotlight shines on our collective progress and healing. It's like when everyone in a superhero movie finally gets on the same page and works together to defeat the alien invasion. You'll start to notice that we all have something unique to bring to the table. Even you, yes YOU, who thought your ability to burp the alphabet wasn't impressive! Now is the time to dive deep into the pool of spiritual exploration. Maybe take up yoga, or learn to meditate, or heck, even start a book club on metaphysical philosophy. And while you're at it, why not create a sacred space at home? A little corner where you can make peace with your houseplants, or simply sit and ponder about the mysteries of the universe. The energy of Neptune in Pisces is nudging us to share our unique, quirky ideas with the world. Remember, there's no such thing as a bad idea, except maybe attempting to put Marmite on a Pop-Tart... Trust me, I've tried it. So, ride this cosmic wave and remember - Neptune's got your back!

Pluto

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Pluto In Capricorn: A Nerdy Astrologer's Take

Okay, fellow stargazers, grab your telescopes and buckle your cosmic seatbelts because our favorite misunderstood dwarf planet, Pluto, is hanging out with the stoic old goat, Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Pluto? Isn't that the tiny, icy loner at the edge of our Solar System?" Yes, yes it is. But despite its chilly exterior and introverted ways, Pluto is all about transformation and casting aside old patterns. It’s like that one friend who always insists on spring cleaning... in the dead of winter.

Meanwhile, Capricorn here is all business, like that one guy in the office who never takes off his suit. Even at the company picnic! Together, these two are a power duo, focused on success like a nerd on a limited edition comic book release. But remember, all work and no play can make you a bit stiff, like Capricorn's favorite attire.

During this transit, you might feel the urge to be a bulldozer in a china shop, discarding anything not serving your ultimate goal faster than you can say “Andromeda”. But hey, let's not forget our manners or empathy for others, even if they can't tell a quasar from a pulsar (the horror!).

So, as Pluto backpedals through Capricorn, let's embrace the chaos of creation and destruction, but gently, like a baby deer learning to walk on an icy pond. It's a fine line between getting rid of what's holding us back and becoming a cosmic Marie Kondo on a downsizing spree.

Remember, space cadets, it's not just about the destination, but the journey. So let's make sure we don’t leave a trail of cosmic debris in our wake. Fly safe!

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Trine Uranus

Today is a good day to pour your creativity and self-expression into coming up with new ways of doing things. Positive surprises are likely today as your aura is ready for the new and unusual. By going off the beaten pathway, you may open up many possibilities for further spiritual and personal growth. You feel free today from all restrictions and you want to fly like the eagle, unbounded by any restraints. Soar high and don't limit yourself.

Venus

Venus

Venus Square Jupiter

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
