The Sun

Solar activity reached moderate levels following an impulsive M1 flare at 12/2344 UTC from Region 3098 (N18W36, Eac/beta-gamma). An associated 10cm radio burst (400 sfu) was observed from 12/2344-2345 UTC. This region exhibited significant development over the past 24 hours, growing in number of spots, overall area and magnetic complexity. It was also the source region for several mid-level C-flares throughout the period. The remaining active regions were either stable or in gradual decay. No new Earth-directed CME signatures were identified.

Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, continued to reflect weak influence from a positive polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength ranged between 3-6 nT while the Bz component reached as far south as -6 nT. Solar wind speeds gradually decayed through the period from ~440 km/s to near 340 km/s. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the positive sector.

There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon In Aries

Your passion and energy are on point while the moon is in Aries, so beware of being too self-focused and making rash and impulsive decisions during this time - and watch your temper! Perhaps you should put that energy into some exercise. Get out and move! Now is a good time to start a new project (but not one you can't finish!). But again, keep an eye out for impulsive decisions or picking fights, because remember - everyone else is feeling that impulsiveness as well!

Let that mysterious thing captivate you while the moon is in Aries. Go ahead and give yourself permission to explore, and don't worry about going it alone. Your independence will serve you well.

The Sun

The Sun is in Virgo

The Sun is at 20 Vir 27' 38", and is 150532669 km away and approaching.

The Sun In Virgo

Perfection is at an all-time high when the Sun is in meticulous Virgo!

This is a time when we'll say goodbye to the playful days of rambunctious Leo so that we can take life a bit more seriously. Sure, we'll all still be feeling the carefree summertime vibes, but the Virgo Sun shows us how to focus more on our work, our health, and how to make ourselves useful to society.

The Sun’s move into detail-oriented Virgo gives all of us a leg up on polishing our skills, getting organized, or doing any activities that require us to pay close attention. Get your work done. Then go for a run, get a deep tissue massage, and wind down with a good book and a glass of fine wine. Virgo is an Earth sign that values sensation and the best experiences in life.

Virgo doesn’t let anything go, which is a quality that is both invaluable and annoying. It’s great to have an eye for the smallest details, but if you’re double-checking someone else’s work, take it easy on them if you find fault, and you will, because the Sun is in Virgo!

Earthy Virgo finds comfort and security when surrounded by nature and wildlife, so get out to the country during the Virgo Sun. Such a serene setting will also calm Virgo’s overly anxious tendencies, and help you loosen up and relax. If you're staying around home, pick up a broom, a mop, and a new feather duster, because now is the perfect time to use that meticulous Virgo energy to get your home spotless.

Virgo can sometimes be too finicky, turning "perfect" into picky, which can be annoying and frustrating for others. Strive to loosen up a little and let a few things go. After all, not everything needs to be flawless. Sun in Virgo is an organized and practical period in which to get back to business after a few lighthearted months. It may not be all fun and games, but you will feel fantastic about how much you’ve accomplished.

Pluto

Mercury

Mercury is in Libra

Mercury is retrograde at 08 Lib 24' 26", moving backwards at 0.34 degrees per day, and is 103714102 km away and approaching.

Mercury Is In Libra

When the planet of speech and the sign of one-on-one relationships get together, our communication with others comes into focus. This isn’t just love relationships we’re talking about -- it’s also about our family, friends, and coworkers, too. If we’ve had any fights, or if we’ve been holding on to a long-term grudge, this is a good time to finally put them to rest.

Diplomacy takes center stage when Mercury is in Libra! Libra is represented by the Scales of justice in Astrology, so it makes sense that we’ll be more objective during this time, attempting to approach every situation in a fair-minded and balanced way. Think of this transit as a gentle reminder from the universe on the importance of considering others’ perspectives and embracing the beauty of compromise.

One challenge of this transit is the tendency to be a little too nice. Don’t sugar-coat things or withhold information just to avoid rocking the boat, as kindness could end up being a barrier to real communication. We need to realize there are many ways to connect with someone, and agreement is only one of them. Expressing opposing beliefs with respect and openness is a terrific way to strengthen any partnership.

Pluto

Venus

Venus is in Virgo

Venus is prograde at 10 Vir 01' 39", moving at 1.24 degrees per day, and is 251929213 km away and receding.

Venus In Virgo

When Venus is in Virgo, we’re being urged to become more reserved and discriminating when it comes to matters of the heart. You may begin to feel that if you can’t have a perfect love, you’d rather not have any love at all. For those that are coupled, Venus in Virgo is a cosmic opportunity to take a step back and determine if we’re getting what we deserve out of our relationships. If single, this is a time when we’ll see the red flags that we might normally miss with any love interests. In fact, this transit may have us more in love with work and service than love itself.

The downside to this time of going over our relationships with a fine-tooth comb is that we may end up nitpicking our partners more than usual, because we find it difficult to let the little things go. It’s possible to keep excess criticism under control by having constructive dialogue rather than just pointing out each and every fault we see. This is a great time to make necessary adjustments in our relationships so that we move forward more positively. In fact, your relationship may end up being better off because of Venus in Virgo!

All of this relationship analysis doesn’t sound very sexy, but despite how it may seem, Venus in Virgo can be passionate. That’s because Virgo is an Earth sign, and it’s all about appreciating food, art, nature, and people. In fact, we appreciate the best of those things because Venus is in Virgo, and that includes what goes on between the sheets. However, we’ll all be a little bit more conservative when Venus in Virgo, so don’t expect any quick flings during this transit.

Pluto

Mars

Mars is in Gemini

Mars is prograde at 12 Gem 45' 57", moving at 0.47 degrees per day, and is 132780782 km away and approaching.

Mars In Gemini

You can say goodbye to boredom while active Mars moves through curious Gemini. With Mars in Gemini, we’re so excited to explore new ideas and start new hobbies that we have no interest in sitting around idly. There’s so much out there to discover, and Mars’ transit through Gemini is just the time to do it.

However, because there are so many things that pique our interest during this transit, it’s hard to stay focused on one thing for too long. The challenge is to stay on track, or to realize that many tracks can take us to our goal. Diversity is the name of Gemini’s game, and Mars in Gemini is about tasting, rather than making a total commitment. We have a greater amount of flexibility when it comes to how we go after what we want. If Plan A doesn’t work out, it’s no problem. We can quickly come up with a Plan B, C, and even D.

Gemini is a childlike, fun-loving sign, but Mars in Gemini isn’t all fun and games. We’re quick to move from one thing to the next during this transit, but there could be consequences for leaving projects unfinished. We’re like butterflies, flitting about a garden of interests. This satisfies our need for discovery, but it could also make us feel generally scattered and unfocused.

Because Mars is the planet of action and drive, it’s no surprise that it’s also the planet of passion and sex. While Mars is in Gemini, the greatest erogenous zone becomes the brain, and we simply must have mental stimulation with our partners before anything else. A meeting of the minds is the biggest turn-on of all when Mars treks through this sign.

Pluto

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Aries

Jupiter is retrograde at 05 Ari 28' 08", moving backwards at 0.12 degrees per day, and is 595003551 km away and approaching.

Jupiter In Aries

Our minds are on fire during Jupiter in Aries, ignited with innovative ideas and lightning bolts of intuition. This is an opportunity to let go of the limits of our past and come up with new solutions for the future. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is always willing to step fearlessly into uncharted territory. During this transit, we can see possibilities to better ourselves that we simply couldn't see before. With Jupiter in Aries, it's not about taking our time to slowly map out a strategized plan, it's about feeling the spark of inspiration and running with it. The more time we take, the more restrictions and problems we realize, which will hold us back. We are encouraged to shoot from the hip, knowing that every experience is a learning experience that helps us grow.

While Jupiter often encourages us to learn from others, Jupiter in Aries is more about self-teaching and self-learning. We mustn't be afraid to take risks and try things, whether we feel prepared or not. Trying and succeeding and trying and failing are both valuable ways of learning and growing. In fact, it may even be harder to maintain attention in a traditional "teacher-and-student" educational setting during this transit, because we need to learn things our own way.

There can, however, be a danger in becoming so focused on ourselves and our own viewpoints. Opinions run hot during Jupiter in Aries, and we're impatient for action, which can fan the flames of confrontation both politically and socially. When we reject the importance of two-way dialogue, we close ourselves off to learning -- and that is a Jupiter no-no! Even though there's extra emphasis on our personal mindsets during this transit, we stifle ourselves if we think too narrowly. Remember, this is a time to expand, not to contract.

During Jupiter's transit through Aries, we make our own luck. When we embrace the power we have to control the direction of our lives, we are able to open up opportunities, solutions, relationships, and fortune that we were blind to before. Jupiter wants us to expand and embrace our potential as individuals, and to realize that we each hold the key to our big, bright, and happy futures, but it is up to us to put it in the lock and turn.

Pluto

Saturn

Saturn is in Aquarius

Saturn is retrograde at 19 Aqu 50' 45", moving backwards at 0.06 degrees per day, and is 1343912835 km away and receding.

Saturn In Aquarius

Aquarian energy is humanitarian. It is full of boundless ideas about what will improve the lives of others, and how shared efforts can make the world a better place. As the 11th sign of the zodiac, Aquarius rules over the 11th House of Groups and Visions. This is the playground of visionaries, inventors, and creators. But as with anything airy, this sign exists primarily on the mental plane. This is why when grounded and pragmatic Saturn moves into Aquarius, the two inspire each other in truly monumental ways.

With this focus on structure in the realm of groups and visions, now is the perfect time for us to connect with others and take action on our most lofty plans: find ways to give back to the community, network in some way with people in your field, or lay the groundwork for that non-profit that's been kicked around for ages.

Saturn in Aquarius can also be a very auspicious time to begin or deepen a relationship. This transit brings people together to reach beyond the individual’s capabilities. Romances or marriages that are established during this time are some of the most powerful and activated unions of all.

As much as this transit strengthens and deepens connections, it also has the potential to end that which is no longer serving us (or maybe never did in the first place). Be on the lookout for people and connections that drain you, and be ready to let them go. Now is the time for building sturdy and lasting structures. Sometimes this means letting go of weak links in friendship, love, and work.

Pluto

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 18 Tau 45' 40", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 2863105224 km away and approaching.

Uranus In Taurus

Taurus is a sign that likes things steady and stable, and isn’t the best at handling big, sudden changes. But big, sudden changes are what Uranus is all about! Taurus would prefer to stick to the status quo and keep doing things the way they’ve always been done. The problem is, the old ways aren’t always the best ways. Even if we are resistant to the changes Uranus in Taurus brings, we have no choice but to go along for the ride, and, chances are, we’ll realize in the end that these changes brought us to a much better place.

Money is Taurus’ main area of expertise, so while Uranus is in Taurus, we can expect some very revolutionary ways of handling and dealing with money, both nationwide and worldwide. During the seven years Uranus will spend in Taurus, brand-new forms of currency may arise, banks and banking could come to a halt or change dramatically, and the housing and stock markets may be in for a major shake-up.

On a more personal level, Uranus in Taurus encourages us to break free from the grips of money: debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, and mortgages are all things that can prevent us from saving money or using it the way we want to. We may also feel trapped by our material possessions in general. During this transit, we must be ready and willing to change our relationship to money and materialism. We no longer have a choice. Uranus is here to liberate us, and digging in our heels and resisting won’t make things any easier, and won’t stop these changes from happening. The changes we make during this period can actually help bring us to a point of greater stability, and can be very long-lasting.

Pluto

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 24 Pis 07' 44", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 4325014534 km away and approaching.

Neptune In Pisces

Neptune in Pisces grants us a unique form of sight. As the Piscean focus on emotion and spirit merges with Neptune’s pull to unify all things, a clarity emerges from the fog, shedding light on our own contradictions. We can suddenly see clearly the futility of caring about petty differences. The value of coming together shines like gold, and the path to wholeness is illuminated.

This transit calls us to look at what we each can contribute toward our collective progress and healing. We all have gifts, ideas, and dreams for how things could be. Neptune in Pisces is an invitation to explore our emotional intelligence for our own unique offerings.

This is the perfect time to take a course in a spiritual path that calls to us, or to create an altar space at home and connect with that which feels most sacred. The energy of Neptune in Pisces nudges us to consider how to then share these ideas with the world, and reminds us that its presence will support us in this process.

Pluto

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is retrograde at 26 Cap 16' 09", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 5087246239 km away and receding.

Pluto In Capricorn

Pluto and Capricorn are both oriented toward success and power, sharing a strong sense of intention and focus that makes them very efficient in their tasks. We may find that our compassion for the viewpoints of other people gets cast aside during this transit, though, since both Pluto and Capricorn demand results. Beware of being intolerant of ideas other than your own.

Pluto wants us to jettison our negative patterns that no longer work for us. Of course, this involves some constructive destruction. Be deliberate in what you destroy as you create.

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Trine Uranus

Today is a good day to pour your creativity and self-expression into coming up with new ways of doing things. Positive surprises are likely today as your aura is ready for the new and unusual. By going off the beaten pathway, you may open up many possibilities for further spiritual and personal growth. You feel free today from all restrictions and you want to fly like the eagle, unbounded by any restraints. Soar high and don't limit yourself.

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Opposite Neptune

Confusion, uncertainty, and delusions of grandeur characterize this transit. Be alert for deception. Avoid becoming the martyr today just because your self-confidence may be low. Don't buy into every sob story that comes your way and don't play the "poor, poor pitiful me" game. Be careful with contracts. In general, be prepared for any kind of possible misunderstanding. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Neptune often struggle with a desire to be something special or to experience something more than the ordinary. They are day-dreamers and idealists. It is easy for these people to trust others, even (and perhaps especially) people who might seem from the outside looking in as unsavory types. They are looking to identify with something beyond what is normally expected of people. Most have in common a childhood that didn’t help the natives direct or define their lives. Perhaps the early family life was lacking in supervision or clearly defined rules. A father figure may have been absent or distant and ineffective. Many people with these aspects have a glorified image of their fathers. Whether the image is very positive or very negative (or if it swings between these extremes), the image is not very clear or rational. Whatever the case may be, these people struggle with defining who they are. They might gravitate towards the “wrong people”, or get in with the “wrong crowd” in an attempt to define who they are. They might be susceptible to being taken advantage of by others, especially by men or authority figures. They can be easily led astray by peculiar desires or self-destructive habits. In order to add a greater-than-ordinary dimension of experience to their lives that helps them to feel special and important, they might be attracted to Neptune-ruled behaviors, such as secret affairs, drugs, or other escapist behaviors. In some way, these people feel a strong urge to glamorize their role in the world. In extreme cases, the natives are completely deluded. However, in most cases, there is simply some confusion about the past (such as remembering childhood experiences in ways that are far removed from reality), and a tendency to daydream about being someone more “important” than they assume they are. They may struggle with early conditioning that made them feel tossed aside or neglected in some way, and certainly not directed and supported. These people are very sensitive, especially with regards to any real or imagined blows to their ego. If the natal chart shows a strong sense of reality and a robust mind (Mercury and Saturn well-placed, for example), the negative interpretations of this aspect are less extreme. Still, the natives are likely to recognize at some point in their lives that they have a tendency to engage in escapist and self-destructive fantasies and/or habits. It is useful to be able to connect these behaviors with their probable source, which is likely to be a weakly-defined ego and identity in childhood. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Cameron Diaz; Oppositions – Sheena Easton.

Mercury

Mercury

Mercury Opposite Jupiter

Your judgment may not be perfect today. You may tend to exaggerate and promise more than you can deliver. You may likely bite off more than you can chew. Mental arrogance is possible. Be tolerant of others' viewpoints. Be careful with contracts and other legal issues. You may appear closed-minded, smug or self-righteous to others. You love to express your ideas, sharing them with others quite readily. Jumping to conclusions can be a problem in your life. You often overlook details, preferring to discover the “big picture” quickly. Your thinking and studying habits are not always orderly or disciplined, and this can of course result in sloppiness. Especially with the opposition, you might vacillate between logical, precise thinking and an optimistic conclusion-drawing bent of mind, and in the process, it can be challenging for you to truly get to the heart of a subject or to focus for very long. You may confuse others with a critical flaw-finding conversation one moment, and an overly faithful and unrealistic opinion the next. While your intentions are generally good, you might overestimate what you are capable of, and promise more than you can deliver. Be careful not to develop a reputation for being unreliable, simply because you desire to make others happy with what you say or promise. You are inclined to exaggerate, often without meaning to, and you might have a hard time putting your ideas into practice. In an attempt to attach greater meaning to your thoughts and ideas, you might frequently overstate or overestimate. You can be extraordinarily funny and interesting. You possess an acute but disorderly mind; you can come to rapid conclusions without knowing all the facts. You must learn to be more disciplined, to concentrate more on details and to be more persistent with your projects. You are very generous and optimistic though your optimism can sometimes distance you from reality. — sample from the Adult report. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Arnold Bennett, Annie Bessant, Barry Bonds, Frank Capra, Julia Child, Jimmy Connors, Miles Davis, Dave Davies, Aretha Franklin, Madeline Kahn, Ted Kennedy Jr., Mata Hari, Bill Moyers, Ginger Rogers, Rod Stewart, John Travolta; Oppositions – Karen Allen, Chet Atkins, Dick Clark, Winston S. Your involvement with the opposite sex today may not be as harmonious as you would like. There's just some sort of tension going on today between you and they. Take the time to give and take, to find some kind of balance. There may be some sort of love-hate emotion that is present today. It will pass, but as long as it seems to be present, just keep your cool and remember the Golden Rule. Focus on the needs of others today and forget your own needs. The problems today may come through your own selfishness, if you give in to it. Communicate. It might clear up any misunderstanding.Whether it’s an infatuation or a full-blown love affair, relationships get these people out of bed in the morning. They are passionate people who seem to need an active romantic and sexual life to drive them. Often, this area of life is somewhat challenging, especially in youth. As much as they want to be involved in a passionate affair, their timing can be off and/or it’s difficult to find a relationship that mirrors their strong desires and expectations. Especially when they are young, there can be a real awkwardness in their social skills–this may or may not be apparent to others, but these people most definitely feel it themselves. These people are highly creative and generally are driven to express that creativity. Their passion for romance is often channeled into their creative output. For example, challenges in relationships may be a large part of the drive behind their poetry, music, or other art.Love and hate are very much mixed together for people with Venus square or opposition Mars in their birth charts. They are prone to love-hate relationships with others, likely because their passions are such that the old saying “there’s a fine line between love and hate” rings especially true. Some level of competitiveness, anger, frustration, or angst is present in their romantic relationships. In some cases, abuse is present, either in the form of receiving or giving it. Although they are quick to anger, they are generally just as quick to forget about it.Interpretation sample from the Karmic Insight report — In this lifetime the erotic impulses of human love, desire, and sexual relationships are a highly charged focus of your attention. Expressing your sexual energies and personal magnetic attractiveness in ways that are loving and respectful or at least not harmful to yourself and others will be one of your issues. Dominating others through your sexuality or allowing yourself to be dominated in this way is also a theme. Dissonance or turbulence in intimate relationships, especially over differences in sexual drives or needs, must be handled with care. Expressing your passion in ways that are compatible with your own values and sense of beauty is the key here.On another level, balancing and integrating masculine and feminine energies within yourself is the challenge. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
