How much do you have left undone right now? Focus your attention on those unfinished projects and get them off your plate. Put in the work and while the moon is in Capricorn you're going to clear that todo list. Work smart! With the moon in conservative Capricorn, it's time to be a bit more cautious, focus seriously, and embrace that "down to earth" nature. Pay attention to the longer-term goals. During this Capricorn Moon, take note of your professional life. Put in the extra effort and it will pay off, and always keep your eye on the next move.

The Sun

The Sun is in Virgo

The Sun is at 12 Vir 41' 37", and is 150841358 km away and approaching.

The Sun In Virgo

Perfection is at an all-time high when the Sun is in meticulous Virgo!

This is a time when we'll say goodbye to the playful days of rambunctious Leo so that we can take life a bit more seriously. Sure, we'll all still be feeling the carefree summertime vibes, but the Virgo Sun shows us how to focus more on our work, our health, and how to make ourselves useful to society.

The Sun’s move into detail-oriented Virgo gives all of us a leg up on polishing our skills, getting organized, or doing any activities that require us to pay close attention. Get your work done. Then go for a run, get a deep tissue massage, and wind down with a good book and a glass of fine wine. Virgo is an Earth sign that values sensation and the best experiences in life.

Virgo doesn’t let anything go, which is a quality that is both invaluable and annoying. It’s great to have an eye for the smallest details, but if you’re double-checking someone else’s work, take it easy on them if you find fault, and you will, because the Sun is in Virgo!

Earthy Virgo finds comfort and security when surrounded by nature and wildlife, so get out to the country during the Virgo Sun. Such a serene setting will also calm Virgo’s overly anxious tendencies, and help you loosen up and relax. If you're staying around home, pick up a broom, a mop, and a new feather duster, because now is the perfect time to use that meticulous Virgo energy to get your home spotless.

Virgo can sometimes be too finicky, turning "perfect" into picky, which can be annoying and frustrating for others. Strive to loosen up a little and let a few things go. After all, not everything needs to be flawless. Sun in Virgo is an organized and practical period in which to get back to business after a few lighthearted months. It may not be all fun and games, but you will feel fantastic about how much you’ve accomplished.

Mercury

Mercury is in Libra

Mercury is prograde at 07 Lib 48' 03", moving at 0.44 degrees per day, and is 119661784 km away and approaching.

Mercury Is In Libra

When the planet of speech and the sign of one-on-one relationships get together, our communication with others comes into focus. This isn’t just love relationships we’re talking about -- it’s also about our family, friends, and coworkers, too. If we’ve had any fights, or if we’ve been holding on to a long-term grudge, this is a good time to finally put them to rest.

Diplomacy takes center stage when Mercury is in Libra! Libra is represented by the Scales of justice in Astrology, so it makes sense that we’ll be more objective during this time, attempting to approach every situation in a fair-minded and balanced way. Think of this transit as a gentle reminder from the universe on the importance of considering others’ perspectives and embracing the beauty of compromise.

One challenge of this transit is the tendency to be a little too nice. Don’t sugar-coat things or withhold information just to avoid rocking the boat, as kindness could end up being a barrier to real communication. We need to realize there are many ways to connect with someone, and agreement is only one of them. Expressing opposing beliefs with respect and openness is a terrific way to strengthen any partnership.

Pluto

Venus

Venus is in Virgo

Venus is prograde at 00 Vir 07' 19", moving at 1.24 degrees per day, and is 249485657 km away and receding.

Venus In Virgo

When Venus is in Virgo, we’re being urged to become more reserved and discriminating when it comes to matters of the heart. You may begin to feel that if you can’t have a perfect love, you’d rather not have any love at all. For those that are coupled, Venus in Virgo is a cosmic opportunity to take a step back and determine if we’re getting what we deserve out of our relationships. If single, this is a time when we’ll see the red flags that we might normally miss with any love interests. In fact, this transit may have us more in love with work and service than love itself.

The downside to this time of going over our relationships with a fine-tooth comb is that we may end up nitpicking our partners more than usual, because we find it difficult to let the little things go. It’s possible to keep excess criticism under control by having constructive dialogue rather than just pointing out each and every fault we see. This is a great time to make necessary adjustments in our relationships so that we move forward more positively. In fact, your relationship may end up being better off because of Venus in Virgo!

All of this relationship analysis doesn’t sound very sexy, but despite how it may seem, Venus in Virgo can be passionate. That’s because Virgo is an Earth sign, and it’s all about appreciating food, art, nature, and people. In fact, we appreciate the best of those things because Venus is in Virgo, and that includes what goes on between the sheets. However, we’ll all be a little bit more conservative when Venus in Virgo, so don’t expect any quick flings during this transit.

Pluto

Mars

Mars is in Gemini

Mars is prograde at 08 Gem 48' 25", moving at 0.52 degrees per day, and is 139730689 km away and approaching.

Mars In Gemini

You can say goodbye to boredom while active Mars moves through curious Gemini. With Mars in Gemini, we’re so excited to explore new ideas and start new hobbies that we have no interest in sitting around idly. There’s so much out there to discover, and Mars’ transit through Gemini is just the time to do it.

However, because there are so many things that pique our interest during this transit, it’s hard to stay focused on one thing for too long. The challenge is to stay on track, or to realize that many tracks can take us to our goal. Diversity is the name of Gemini’s game, and Mars in Gemini is about tasting, rather than making a total commitment. We have a greater amount of flexibility when it comes to how we go after what we want. If Plan A doesn’t work out, it’s no problem. We can quickly come up with a Plan B, C, and even D.

Gemini is a childlike, fun-loving sign, but Mars in Gemini isn’t all fun and games. We’re quick to move from one thing to the next during this transit, but there could be consequences for leaving projects unfinished. We’re like butterflies, flitting about a garden of interests. This satisfies our need for discovery, but it could also make us feel generally scattered and unfocused.

Because Mars is the planet of action and drive, it’s no surprise that it’s also the planet of passion and sex. While Mars is in Gemini, the greatest erogenous zone becomes the brain, and we simply must have mental stimulation with our partners before anything else. A meeting of the minds is the biggest turn-on of all when Mars treks through this sign.

Pluto

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Aries

Jupiter is retrograde at 06 Ari 25' 05", moving backwards at 0.11 degrees per day, and is 600931519 km away and approaching.

Jupiter In Aries

Our minds are on fire during Jupiter in Aries, ignited with innovative ideas and lightning bolts of intuition. This is an opportunity to let go of the limits of our past and come up with new solutions for the future. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is always willing to step fearlessly into uncharted territory. During this transit, we can see possibilities to better ourselves that we simply couldn't see before. With Jupiter in Aries, it's not about taking our time to slowly map out a strategized plan, it's about feeling the spark of inspiration and running with it. The more time we take, the more restrictions and problems we realize, which will hold us back. We are encouraged to shoot from the hip, knowing that every experience is a learning experience that helps us grow.

While Jupiter often encourages us to learn from others, Jupiter in Aries is more about self-teaching and self-learning. We mustn't be afraid to take risks and try things, whether we feel prepared or not. Trying and succeeding and trying and failing are both valuable ways of learning and growing. In fact, it may even be harder to maintain attention in a traditional "teacher-and-student" educational setting during this transit, because we need to learn things our own way.

There can, however, be a danger in becoming so focused on ourselves and our own viewpoints. Opinions run hot during Jupiter in Aries, and we're impatient for action, which can fan the flames of confrontation both politically and socially. When we reject the importance of two-way dialogue, we close ourselves off to learning -- and that is a Jupiter no-no! Even though there's extra emphasis on our personal mindsets during this transit, we stifle ourselves if we think too narrowly. Remember, this is a time to expand, not to contract.

During Jupiter's transit through Aries, we make our own luck. When we embrace the power we have to control the direction of our lives, we are able to open up opportunities, solutions, relationships, and fortune that we were blind to before. Jupiter wants us to expand and embrace our potential as individuals, and to realize that we each hold the key to our big, bright, and happy futures, but it is up to us to put it in the lock and turn.

Pluto

Saturn

Saturn is in Aquarius

Saturn is retrograde at 20 Aqu 20' 49", moving backwards at 0.07 degrees per day, and is 1335113014 km away and receding.

Saturn In Aquarius

Aquarian energy is humanitarian. It is full of boundless ideas about what will improve the lives of others, and how shared efforts can make the world a better place. As the 11th sign of the zodiac, Aquarius rules over the 11th House of Groups and Visions. This is the playground of visionaries, inventors, and creators. But as with anything airy, this sign exists primarily on the mental plane. This is why when grounded and pragmatic Saturn moves into Aquarius, the two inspire each other in truly monumental ways.

With this focus on structure in the realm of groups and visions, now is the perfect time for us to connect with others and take action on our most lofty plans: find ways to give back to the community, network in some way with people in your field, or lay the groundwork for that non-profit that's been kicked around for ages.

Saturn in Aquarius can also be a very auspicious time to begin or deepen a relationship. This transit brings people together to reach beyond the individual’s capabilities. Romances or marriages that are established during this time are some of the most powerful and activated unions of all.

As much as this transit strengthens and deepens connections, it also has the potential to end that which is no longer serving us (or maybe never did in the first place). Be on the lookout for people and connections that drain you, and be ready to let them go. Now is the time for building sturdy and lasting structures. Sometimes this means letting go of weak links in friendship, love, and work.

Pluto

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 18 Tau 51' 50", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 2880989524 km away and approaching.

Uranus In Taurus

Taurus is a sign that likes things steady and stable, and isn’t the best at handling big, sudden changes. But big, sudden changes are what Uranus is all about! Taurus would prefer to stick to the status quo and keep doing things the way they’ve always been done. The problem is, the old ways aren’t always the best ways. Even if we are resistant to the changes Uranus in Taurus brings, we have no choice but to go along for the ride, and, chances are, we’ll realize in the end that these changes brought us to a much better place.

Money is Taurus’ main area of expertise, so while Uranus is in Taurus, we can expect some very revolutionary ways of handling and dealing with money, both nationwide and worldwide. During the seven years Uranus will spend in Taurus, brand-new forms of currency may arise, banks and banking could come to a halt or change dramatically, and the housing and stock markets may be in for a major shake-up.

On a more personal level, Uranus in Taurus encourages us to break free from the grips of money: debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, and mortgages are all things that can prevent us from saving money or using it the way we want to. We may also feel trapped by our material possessions in general. During this transit, we must be ready and willing to change our relationship to money and materialism. We no longer have a choice. Uranus is here to liberate us, and digging in our heels and resisting won’t make things any easier, and won’t stop these changes from happening. The changes we make during this period can actually help bring us to a point of greater stability, and can be very long-lasting.

Pluto

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 24 Pis 20' 49", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 4327434922 km away and approaching.

Neptune In Pisces

Neptune in Pisces grants us a unique form of sight. As the Piscean focus on emotion and spirit merges with Neptune’s pull to unify all things, a clarity emerges from the fog, shedding light on our own contradictions. We can suddenly see clearly the futility of caring about petty differences. The value of coming together shines like gold, and the path to wholeness is illuminated.

This transit calls us to look at what we each can contribute toward our collective progress and healing. We all have gifts, ideas, and dreams for how things could be. Neptune in Pisces is an invitation to explore our emotional intelligence for our own unique offerings.

This is the perfect time to take a course in a spiritual path that calls to us, or to create an altar space at home and connect with that which feels most sacred. The energy of Neptune in Pisces nudges us to consider how to then share these ideas with the world, and reminds us that its presence will support us in this process.

Pluto

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is retrograde at 26 Cap 22' 29", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 5070641899 km away and receding.

Pluto In Capricorn

Pluto and Capricorn are both oriented toward success and power, sharing a strong sense of intention and focus that makes them very efficient in their tasks. We may find that our compassion for the viewpoints of other people gets cast aside during this transit, though, since both Pluto and Capricorn demand results. Beware of being intolerant of ideas other than your own.

Pluto wants us to jettison our negative patterns that no longer work for us. Of course, this involves some constructive destruction. Be deliberate in what you destroy as you create.

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Square Mars

You are full of it today, high energy, force of will, and a dislike of any restraint. Slow down a little so you don't go flying off the handle. Physical, mental, and verbal confrontations are likely today, so stay in control. Don't speed today as the police may be watching you. Don't stay out in the sun too long. Your will is tested today and the universe wants to see if you can keep your head. As they say, "Don't have a cow." Ego conflicts and selfishness are today's problem areas. There is an unmistakable competitiveness and a “me-first” attitude with those who have Sun square or opposition Mars in their natal charts. The fighter persona is most apparent in youth, when the child is described as a “bundle of energy”, or it is remarked that he or she “can’t sit still”. The abundant energy generated by the hard aspects (especially the square) between the Sun and Mars is hard to direct in childhood. Later in life, ideally, those with these aspects have learned to channel some of their excess energy into productive avenues–perhaps through career, sports, or any area where competitiveness is considered an asset. Nevertheless, people with these aspects can meet up with more than their share of conflict, and they can most certainly rub people the wrong way. They are very motivated to get things done, to take action rather than simply talk about something, and to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible. Those who know them quite well might describe these people as hot-headed and temperamental at times. They are easily frustrated, and they’re given to impulsive actions and assertion of their wills. If the aspect is found in cardinal signs, it gives impulsiveness and a short temper. If the aspect is found in fixed signs, the natives can be very hard-headed and willful. If it’s in mutable signs, it gives a restless and frustrated impatience.Essentially, those with Sun square Mars in their charts have faced conflict and are not particularly afraid of it. They have faced having their need to assert themselves blocked. Their parents may have done as much as they could to “tame” what they felt to be excess energy or aggression. In other words, they know all about conflict and blockages, so that when they are faced with a challenge or a roadblock, they don’t run away from it or hide under the covers feeling sorry for themselves. They meet challenges head-on.Sun opposition Mars people are more confrontational and argumentative than active. In youth, they might feel that they often face anger from others. They might see the Mars energy as coming from the outside. If and when they face the fact that the aggression is actually a part of their own personalities, they are more equipped to direct the competitive energy into productive avenues. Some Famous people with Sun square or opposition Mars: Jennifer Aniston (Sun square Mars and Neptune in fixed signs), Bob Dylan, Madonna, Muhammad Ali (square), Anne Heche (opposition), Jim Morrison (opposition).Note: The square, semi-square, sesquiquadrate, and opposition are also called “hard”, “challenging”, or “inharmonious” aspects.Sun in hard aspect to Mars: In this life you are learning to embody and express the energies of the warrior; courage, action, forcefulness, the ability to fight for what you want and need. However, these positive qualities can quickly degenerate into unnecessary and excessive aggression, discordant relationships, even violence. Your tendency to be impatient and hot headed, and to see everyone as a potential competitor or rival, may draw out the anger and combativeness in other people. Your challenge is to learn to use your overabundant energy in productive, or at least not destructive, action. — Interpretation from the Karmic Insight report.Sun square Mars: Sun/Mars aspects enhance your courage, assertiveness, leadership, independence, and love of power. You seek an exciting career that will allow expression of your natural enthusiasm, energy, entrepreneurial drive, and crusading spirit. When you stand up for your beliefs and values, you inspire others to follow your lead. You like being in charge and would probably feel stifled in a routine job or a subordinate position. You enjoy adventure and competition, and may be interested in Mars-ruled careers like the police, detective work, the military, politics, sports, debating, engineering, construction, haircutting, or any field that uses sharp instruments. If you do not learn to control your impulsivity and restlessness, you may be prone to headaches, nervousness, irritability, angry outbursts, accidents, or problems with the law. The Rambo movie character would have this aspect in his chart. — Interpretation from our Career Report.Sun square Mars: This is a highly emotional and fiery tempered child. The child will probably be very self-assertive not to mention argumentative. So a few lessons in toeing the line will be necessary. Kids with this aspect are often too quick to pick up a challenge even when none was intended. They must learn to calm down and not be quite so hasty. Training this child to take full responsibility from an early age, without attaching guilt, is by far the best approach. Sometimes these kids may not even recognize the effect their nature has on others, so they will be genuinely confused at the reactions an outburst may cause. The poor kid may stir people without even knowing it, by tone of voice, body language, or by not saying anything. But most importantly, put some effort into allowing this child to recognize the sheer potency of this powerful energy. Help him/her to utilize it thoroughly. The child must learn to bow out now and again – it is not always possible to run the show. Being the most dogmatic, vocal, and aggressive does not necessarily make for the best leader.Often there will be a quick temper that flares suddenly. The big lesson is to make this child responsible for any outbursts rather than reacting or maybe turning a blind eye for the sake of peace. There could be a good reason for such anger. Encourage a positive discussion making this a part of the training and guidance needed for a calmer, more in control, child. This aspect makes for some bad drivers. It also produces many good athletes. This is the real difference between using this energy constructively or destructively. — Interpretation for the KidZone report.Sun square Mars: There is a lack of harmony between your environment and your ambitions. What you need most is not always at hand to make the kind of progress you envision. Or, when the support is there, you can’t get the instruction or direction you require. You may have forgotten where it was you wanted to get to, sort of “all dressed up, but which way to go?” It could be historical, too, as simple as being torn between your mother and your father — a struggle between that which seeks to nurture you (and perhaps baby you) and your ambitions — a need to succeed and be all that you can be. — Interpretation from WinStar.Sun square Mars: (The Outraged) It is difficult for you to see a need for concession. You have no patience with another’s input when you are confident you are right. You may work harder than others and your ego demands you receive full credit. If denied or opposed, your fiery reactions may eclipse the rewards you have earned. By learning that compromise is the blending of positive energies, you employ the wisdom of a respected master instead of the mandates of a tyrant welcomed by none. — Interpretation from the Spirit Success report.

Mercury

Mercury

Mercury Trine Mars

You are sharp and alert today and your head is buzzing with fresh plans and ideas. Put your plans into action today as energy is high. Communications go smoothly as others are understanding you and are receptive to your thoughts. It's a great day to get some exercise and to run errands.Your mind is very restless and you will never cease to learn. You are quick, practical, perceptive, brave and can easily detect the weaknesses of others. You are very creative and you can excel both in writing and in manual arts. You are very secure and firm in your decisions without being aggressive. Your mind never rests and it is important that you keep yourself active. You make an expressive and lively conversationalist, and you generally mean what you say and say what you mean. You have the ability to speak truths without coming across as too blunt or offensive. You often make the best decisions at the very last minute! You can be very productive when you’re focused, spending less time on work that others labor over. You often take “busy-ness” in stride. You are alert and aware, and can easily turn ideas into workable projects. Your communications are refreshingly direct and to the point, although not especially sympathetic. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Mars have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Mars: Sextiles – Tom Brokaw, Bill Clinton, David Spade, Edgar Cayce, Harry Hamlin; Trines – Shari Lewis, Joyce Brothers, Ray Davies, Henry Winkler, Sonny Bono, Beau Bridges, Stacy Keach, Cheiro, Sigmund Freud, Bill Cosby, F. Mercury Opposite Jupiter

Your judgment may not be perfect today. You may tend to exaggerate and promise more than you can deliver. You may likely bite off more than you can chew. Mental arrogance is possible. Be tolerant of others' viewpoints. Be careful with contracts and other legal issues. You may appear closed-minded, smug or self-righteous to others. You love to express your ideas, sharing them with others quite readily. Jumping to conclusions can be a problem in your life. You often overlook details, preferring to discover the “big picture” quickly. Your thinking and studying habits are not always orderly or disciplined, and this can of course result in sloppiness. Especially with the opposition, you might vacillate between logical, precise thinking and an optimistic conclusion-drawing bent of mind, and in the process, it can be challenging for you to truly get to the heart of a subject or to focus for very long. You may confuse others with a critical flaw-finding conversation one moment, and an overly faithful and unrealistic opinion the next. While your intentions are generally good, you might overestimate what you are capable of, and promise more than you can deliver. Be careful not to develop a reputation for being unreliable, simply because you desire to make others happy with what you say or promise. You are inclined to exaggerate, often without meaning to, and you might have a hard time putting your ideas into practice. In an attempt to attach greater meaning to your thoughts and ideas, you might frequently overstate or overestimate. You can be extraordinarily funny and interesting. You possess an acute but disorderly mind; you can come to rapid conclusions without knowing all the facts. You must learn to be more disciplined, to concentrate more on details and to be more persistent with your projects. You are very generous and optimistic though your optimism can sometimes distance you from reality. — sample from the Adult report. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Arnold Bennett, Annie Bessant, Barry Bonds, Frank Capra, Julia Child, Jimmy Connors, Miles Davis, Dave Davies, Aretha Franklin, Madeline Kahn, Ted Kennedy Jr., Mata Hari, Bill Moyers, Ginger Rogers, Rod Stewart, John Travolta; Oppositions – Karen Allen, Chet Atkins, Dick Clark, Winston S. Mars Sextile Jupiter

This is considered a lucky transit. Speculation and taking risks now could prove fortunate. New business ventures and opportunities can succeed under this aspect. Physical activities are also favored at this time. Get out and do something. You tend to be restless and prone to boredom. You need a partner who can keep up with your lightning responses to your environment - and one who truly understands your love of intellectual competition and sparring. You have tremendous personal resources with which to achieve your goals. Although the goals you set for yourself are likely to be somewhat ambitious, you are willing to work hard to see that they are achieved. Ever since you were a child and learned to invent indoor games to amuse yourself, you have steadily worked at developing your intellectual skills. This prepared you to deal well with competitive situations in your adult life.Communication is important to you. Your dramatic delivery and flair for using the right words make you a formidable opponent in any debate. It is particularly difficult to win a debate with you because you only present information that is well documented and convincing. You also use this skill to come to the aid of others who cannot defend themselves intellectually, which is admirable indeed!Others admire your confidence and straightforwardness. You respect others who stand firm on their convictions and have high ambitions. It is important that everyone who deals with you does so with honesty and integrity. In your love life, you appreciate a partner who is intellectually strong. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
