At approx 18/1720 UTC, a SSBC occurred, switching the phi angle from positive to negative, likely signaling the onset of the anticipated negative polarity CH HSS. Total field eventually climbed to a peak of 8 nT, Bz saw a southward deflection to -7 nT, and solar wind speeds slowly increased to near 310 km/s.
