Solar activity was very low. The visible disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.
Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, were near background levels. Total magnetic field strength ranged between 1-7 nT, ending the period around 5 nT. The Bz component fluctuated between +/- 4 nT. Solar wind speeds increased to a brief peak of ~433 km/s at 01/0520 UTC before gradually declining to ~375 km/s at the end of the reporting period. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the negative sector.
There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
The moon is currently in Sagittarius, at 17 degrees, 47' 08", at a velocity of 14.28 degrees per day.
The Waning Gibbous moon is currently 20.1 days old. It is 365619.07 km from the centre of the Earth.
The next new moon is at 2:32:56, 12 Apr, 2021. The next full moon is at 3:33:04, 27 Apr, 2021.
Keep that optimistic outlook! Your positive attitude while the moon is in Sagittarius will go towards your success. That said, don't be impulsive. Temper the optimism with a good view on reality. Maybe now is a good time to plan that trip, though. Go get some exposure to someplace you've never been before. Soak up the experience. Be a visionary and recognize that your optimism is likely a bit peaked.
