Solar activity reached moderate levels. Region 3571 (S17E49, Hax/alpha) produced an M1.1 flare at 02/0301 UTC, the largest of the period. An associated CME and Type II radio sweep were observed with the event. The CME was directed towards the SE and it not expected to have an Earth-directed component. The region was exceptionally active for an alpha spot classification and produced the majority of the other C-class X-ray activity observed during the past 24 hours. A notable exception was a C6.5 flare at 02/1135 UTC which originated from around the SE limb.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently normal.

Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels. Solar wind speed ranged from 320-370 km/s. Total magnetic field strength was below 5 nT. Phi angle was mostly negative.

There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Scorpio

Well, aren't we in for a cosmic treat, stargazers? Our dear old Moon, that glowing nightlight in the sky, has swung her way into sultry Scorpio. That's right, folks, our lunar lady is currently 393,194.897889969km away, nestled snugly in the constellation of the Scorpion. And no, that's not just a bunch of astro-babble. I've got the math to back it up! Now, what does this mean for you? If you were expecting sudden bouts of telepathy or the ability to speak fluent alien, I hate to break it to you, but you might want to lower your expectations a tad. Unless, of course, you're already fluent in alien. In that case, good job on being multilingual! But let's not get off track here! When the Moon is in Scorpio, we're all in for an emotional deep dive. It's like getting a free ticket to the world's most intense roller coaster ride, except the ride is your feelings and the safety bar is… also your feelings. It's all about plunging into the depths of the emotional ocean, maybe finding a few buried treasures (or old soda cans), and resurfacing with new insights. And hey, if the thought of doing some emotional spelunking scares you, don't fret! Remember, Scorpio is also the sign of transformation. So even if you feel like you're stuck in a sci-fi movie where you've been turned into a giant bug, there's always the chance for a surprise plot twist! So, buckle up, space cadets! It's about to get intense. But remember, no matter how wild the cosmic winds may blow, you've got the strength of a star inside you. Time to let it shine!

Mercury

Mercury Is In Capricorn

Alright, star gazers! Grab your lab coats and adjust your pocket protectors because we're about to talk about Mercury in Capricorn. Now, you might be thinking, "Hang on a minute, isn't Mercury that tiny speck of celestial bling 196,072,484.578860402km away?" You bet your sweet buns it is! So, what's the deal with Mercury chilling in Capricorn? Well, let's put it this way: Capricorn is like the Elon Musk of the zodiac, always eyeing the next big thing and planning how to get there. And when Mercury decides to crash at their pad, boy oh boy, does our thinking get turbo-charged. We're talking laser-like focus, crystal-clear thoughts, and communication skills sharper than a hipster's beard trimmer. Mercury in Capricorn is like having your own cosmic version of Tetris, where all those random thoughts floating around your brain suddenly fall into place, creating a neat, orderly pattern. It's like having Marie Kondo tidy up your mind: everything just sparks joy and makes sense. But, as Uncle Ben once said, "With great power comes great responsibility." And trust me, he wasn't just referring to Spider-Man's laundry. Capricorn's got a bit of an ego, and with Mercury in their house, we all start to think we're the celestial equivalent of Einstein. So, while you're out there turning your ideas into reality, just remember: be mindful of how you interact with others. Not everyone might appreciate your newly found 'I am the king of the universe' vibe. You don't want to end up like that one friend who goes full dictator mode during a friendly game of Monopoly, do you? So there you have it, folks! Mercury in Capricorn - a time for big ideas, efficient communication, and a gentle reminder to keep our inner Napoleon in check. Now, go out there and conquer the world... but remember to be nice about it!

Venus in Capricorn: The Astrological Equivalent of a Slow Cooker

Brace yourselves, stargazers, Venus has officially clocked into Capricorn, and that means we're all about to get schooled in the art of "Love 101: No Nonsense Edition." This is not one of those fluffy, hearts-and-flowers kind of transits. Oh no, this is like your love life putting on a business suit, carrying a briefcase, and insisting on a 401k plan. Venus in Capricorn isn't interested in short-lived flings or tumultuous love stories; instead, it's seeking a love that ages like a fine wine, or at least a well-preserved block of cheese.

For those passionately intertwined, you might find yourselves discussing mortgage rates or arguing over which brand of dishwasher is most reliable. For the singles out there? Get ready to sift through potential partners like you're auditing a spreadsheet, because Venus in Capricorn won't settle for less than long-term ROI (Return On Intimacy).

And let's not forget about our personal style during this transit. You might feel compelled to trade in your neon leg warmers or mullet hairstyle for something a tad more... timeless. Think less "I woke up like this" and more "I meticulously planned and executed this look over a span of three weeks."

But hey, let's not just limit this to love and fashion. Venus in Capricorn also brings a serious business vibe. It’s like your career is suddenly auditioning for a role in "The Wolf of Wall Street." Are you climbing the corporate ladder or have you been using it to change light bulbs? Now's the time to reflect, reassess, and maybe buy a new power suit. After all, Venus in Capricorn is all about owning your worth and taking things to the next level.

In short, Venus in Capricorn is like the slow cooker of astrology - it may take a while, but it produces results that are well worth the wait. So buckle up, folks. It's time to get serious... about everything.

Mars Is In Capricorn

Mars in Capricorn: A Cosmic Caffeine Hit

Alright, stargazers, let's get down to brass tacks - or, you know, cosmic tacks. Mars, that fiery celestial body (no, not the chocolate bar), has hoofed it into Capricorn, a sign known for its earthy pragmatism. Just think of Mars as a rowdy houseguest who’s just kicked in your door, and Capricorn as the meticulous host who’s already got the broom out to sweep up the mess. Chaos meets order, my friends.

During this stellar rendezvous, forget about daydreams and impulsive decisions - Capricorn's going to have none of that tomfoolery. Mars in Capricorn is like having a cosmic life coach who's simultaneously shaking you by the shoulders and drawing up a five-year-plan. It's all about turning those pie-in-the-sky ideas into tangible results. No pressure, right?

Let's put it this way: Imagine Mars as a headstrong toddler and Capricorn as the ever-patient parent. Mars wants to run wild, but Capricorn is gently, yet firmly, guiding its path towards purposeful action. This celestial transit is a gentle nudge (or a boot in the backside) to reassess our goals and find more efficient ways to reach them. Whether it's finally learning to juggle flaming torches or starting that vegan cheese business, now's the time to get cracking.

What's great about Mars and Capricorn is they both love a good challenge. They're like the astrological equivalent of Arnold Schwarzenegger, flexing their muscles at any obstacle that comes their way. So, if you've been procrastinating on a project or goal, consider this your cosmic cattle prod to get moving.

However, there's a teeny, tiny caveat. Mars and Capricorn aren't exactly known for their touchy-feely side. They're more about breaking barriers than group hugs. So, remember as you hurdle towards success, don't forget the little people (or the vegan cheese lovers) you might step over on your way up. A dash of compassion can go a long way in offsetting any Martian "me-first" tendencies.

In short, stargazers, Mars in Capricorn is like a celestial double espresso shot - it's going to kick

Jupiter In Taurus: A Nerdy, Astrologically Inclined Dalek's Perspective

"Extrapolate! Extrapolate!" cries the Dalek. Jupiter, the big gassy giant, has rolled into Taurus, the cosmic cash cow of the zodiac. Fellow nerds, brace yourselves for a celestial mash-up that could make even a Dalek crack a smile...or whatever equivalent they have.

Firstly, let's get scientific. The distance between Earth and Jupiter is a whopping 748 million-ish kilometers. That's like travelling to the moon and back almost 1945 times! But don't worry, we won't need a TARDIS for this cosmic journey.

When Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and oversized gas balloons, decides to bunk with Taurus, it’s like having Albert Einstein living with Bill Gates. Expect a eureka moment with a side of, "Where did all this money come from?"

Now, much like Daleks, Taurus can be a bit stubborn. But when Jupiter saunters in, it's time to trade in that "Exterminate!" mantra for something a tad more zen. This cosmic cocktail serves up a healthy dose of patience, a dash of determination, and a platter of prosperity.

It's like a celestial lottery where the stakes are high, but so are the potential rewards. Just remember to keep your impulses in check. With Jupiter’s expansive energy and Taurus' love for indulgence, you might find yourself wanting to splurge on a diamond-encrusted Dalek. Resist!

So, grab your telescopes, fellow star-gazers, and embrace the cosmic wisdom of Jupiter in Taurus. It's a time for growth, prosperity, and maybe a little bit of Doctor Who binge-watching. After all, who says science and spirituality can't coexist? Even a Dalek might agree. "Affirmative!"

Saturn

Saturn is prograde at 06 Pis 42' 03", moving at 0.12 degrees per day, and is 1590080510km away and receding.

Saturn Is In Pisces

When Saturn Hoops it Up in Pisces

Alright, star gazers! Grab your telescopes and prep your space snacks because Saturn is having a pool party in Pisces and you're all invited. Just remember, this party is 1.59 billion kilometers away so don't forget your space Uber.

Saturn playing footsie with Pisces is like when you finally decide to stop daydreaming about that unicorn-themed bakery you've been ruminating on and actually start drafting a business plan for it. Trust me, if you ask the universe for advice during this transit, it's going to respond with a cosmic TED Talk. Saturn, the celestial disciplinarian, and Pisces, the imaginative dreamer, are teaming up to make sure your dreams are more fruitful than a space farmer's hydroponic garden.

But, let's be honest, Saturn in Pisces isn't all rainbows and intergalactic butterflies. It's like your dad, if your dad was a giant gas planet, questioning your dreams. And if your dream was to become an interstellar pastry chef, it could feel like a bit of an intrusion. But remember, Saturn is just trying to help. So, instead of hanging a "No Planetary Bodies Allowed" sign on your door, invite him in for a cup of cosmic tea and listen to his advice. He might just have the recipe for that zero-gravity frosting you've been struggling with.

Now, all this celestial chatter can disrupt your circadian rhythm faster than a supernova. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself counting sheep or even extraterrestrial goats to get to sleep. This is a great time to chill out: try some astral yoga, take a moonlit stroll, meditate on the rings of Saturn, or simply take a nap (just keep a dream journal handy for any star-studded revelations). And don't worry if you feel like turning in early - there's always plenty of time to slow down and rest when you're living on cosmic time. So, tune into the deep wisdom of the universe during this transit, and remember: the stars are always there, even when you can't see them.

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is prograde at 19 Tau 06' 35", moving at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 2916274929km away and receding.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Uranus Hitches a Ride with Taurus

Alright, my celestial voyagers, put on your space helmets and buckle up! Uranus, the cosmic maverick, has decided to bunk with our good ol’ steadfast Taurus. If anyone knows anything about Taurus, it's that they like things just so. Kinda like that favorite pair of moon boots you refuse to retire - they're broken in just right, they've got character, plus, they've survived three Mars missions, so why fix what ain't broke, right?

Sadly, Uranus doesn’t share this sentiment. This planet is all about shaking things up like an interstellar snow globe. Change is Uranus' jam, it’s bread and butter...it's alien breakfast cereal. And Taurus? Well, they’re about as fond of change as a cat is fond of a surprise bath. So, this celestial hoedown might feel more like a roller coaster ride through the asteroid belt.

Now, Taurus has a thing for moolah. They're the Wall Street of the zodiac - the Gordon Gekkos of galaxy. But with Uranus in town, we're looking at some major financial revolutions. You thought Bitcoin was a game-changer? Hold onto your space pants, because the next seven years could make cryptocurrency look like Monopoly money.

On the home planet, this means we need to reassess our relationship with our own personal treasure chests. Debts, taxes, credit card interest, rent, mortgages – all those money-draining black holes need a thorough review. It's time to break free from the financial gravity that's been holding us down. Remember, Uranus is all about liberation, kinda like the cosmic version of William Wallace from Braveheart.

So, as we orbit through this period, let's embrace the chaos. Resisting is like trying to stop a comet with a butterfly net. It's pointless and you'll just end up with stardust in your eyes. The changes we make now can lead to a more stable orbit, possibly even a smoother ride through the cosmos.

And hey, just remember, even if the ride gets bumpy, it’s all just part of the grand cosmic journey. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the space show!

Neptune Is In Pisces

Neptune in Pisces: The Cosmic Party Crasher

Alright, folks! Buckle up because Neptune, the cosmic equivalent of that weird uncle who shows up uninvited to family gatherings, has gatecrashed its way into Pisces. Now, this isn't a bad thing, mind you. Think of it as if Mr. Rogers and Bob Ross had a love child and he's just rolled into town with a van full of happy little trees and friendly neighborhood sweaters.

This celestial oddball combo is like a cosmic spotlight on our emotional and spiritual psyche, stripping away the fog of denial faster than a Trekkie can recite the Starfleet Prime Directive. Suddenly, all those petty differences you've been bickering about seem about as significant as a Klingon at a Star Wars convention.

Now, the beauty of this Neptune-Pisces mashup is that it's an open invitation for us to dig deep into our emotional piggy banks. We are being called to bring out our unique offerings to the potluck of life. It's like realizing you've been holding onto the secret recipe for the universe's best potato salad all this time.

This is the perfect phase to dabble in the spiritual arts, whether that means joining the Jedi Order or simply dedicating a corner of your living room to your favorite Bob Ross painting. Whatever floats your cosmic boat!

And remember, folks, Neptune in Pisces is here to back you up. So don't be shy! Share your ideas, your dreams, and yes, even your potato salad recipes with the world. Remember, in the grand scheme of things, we're all just stardust trying to make our way through this wacky, wonderful universe together.

Until next time, live long and prosper, my friends.

And may the cosmic force be with you!

Pluto

Pluto is in Aquarius

Pluto Is In Aquarius

Well, well, well, here we are again, my space-loving friends. And this time, it’s Pluto in Aquarius we’re talking about. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Pluto. He's the little underdog of the solar system, just trying to make his way in the world. But let's be honest, with a distance of 5370831489.004179001km (give or take a few feet), he's not exactly close. But hey, don't let that fool you. Pluto might be small and far away, but when he swings into Aquarius, boy oh boy, you better buckle up! You see, Pluto is like that friend who shows up unannounced and decides to rearrange your entire apartment. "What? You don't need this old couch!" he exclaims while chucking your beloved lounge out the window. And Aquarius? Well, Aquarius is the sign of progress, the eccentric inventor who's always coming up with crazy ideas for flying cars and telepathic coffee makers. Combine these two, and what do we get? A significant shift in our souls, an upheaval of our identities, and the sudden urge to buy a neon green electric car. Now, let's talk about the implications of this cosmic combo. We're not just looking at minor tweaks here. No, we're talking about major world-wide changes in science, technology, and even space travel. I mean, who knows, maybe we'll finally get those hoverboards we've been promised since the 80s! On the more serious side, expect to see substantial shifts in civil rights and humanitarianism. It's like Pluto and Aquarius are throwing a party, and the guest list includes everyone who values the lives, feelings, and experiences of others. Sounds like my kind of shindig! On a personal level, this transit is all about reevaluating our place in the world. It's no longer enough to think about what's best for us; it's time to consider what's best for everyone. Pluto in Aquarius is like that sassy life coach who snaps her fingers and says, "Honey, it's time to step up your game." So, will we answer the call? Well, that's up to you, my cosmic comrades. But remember, change isn't something to fear; it's something to embrace. And if you're not ready for it, well... fear not! I've heard that retrograde planets make great scapegoats

The Sun

Sun Square Moon

You must balance your emotions with your individuality. You may have difficulties today dealing with the opposite sex, authority figures or family members. Ego confrontations over emotional issues are likely to be the cause. Vitality may be low today, so keep stress to a minimum. Try to understand others' points of view before expressing your own. Get in touch with your true feelings. Emotional impulses may interfere with objective and good judgment. What people who were born with Sun square Moon in their natal charts want and what they need are in conflict. The Sun square Moon aspect is similar to the Sun opposition Moon aspect in this sense, but there are very notable differences. Whereas the struggle between wants and needs is mostly played out on the inside and through significant relationships with Sun opposition Moon people, Sun square Moon people tend to confront obstacles that come from the outside. In truth, the struggle is within, as it is a case of being “one’s own worst enemy”. There can be a tendency to attract challenging situations into the life as an unconscious attempt to recreate the tension of early childhood. As well, specific habits and attitudes can hamper their progress in life. These people generally have a need to achieve and accomplish something important, and they act out their internal struggle along the way. For whatever reason, these people didn’t feel needed or accepted. The clash between their parents or parent figures, if indeed there was one, made them feel unaccepted for who they were, and there can be a very real drive to prove themselves to the world (and/or to the parents). The parents may not have simply been opposite personalities, as is the case with Sun opposition Moon. It is more likely that their relationship was a continual struggle. Sun square Moon individuals internalized the tension in the cosmic air that they were born into, and felt out of place as a result. In some cases, they literally felt unwanted by one or both parents. Even if the parents didn’t clash, the early life was likely to have been over-stimulating and tense, causing the child to feel insecure. These people experience a struggle between their need for nurture and their need for independence. When they get the autonomy that they seem to crave, they feel unsupported by others. When they receive the support they crave, they feel smothered. This internal clash is most apparent in the relationships they form, especially in the first half of their lives when they may not be aware of these patterns. Confrontations and challenges are frequent–not just with romantic partners, but also on the job, with friends, and so forth. However, these people have a lot of drive and spunk. They are resilient creatures who have faced conflict and who have survived it. Although they face a struggle with fluctuating energy, they are motivated to accomplish something. Ideally, they learn through experience to accomplish something for themselves rather than to prove their worth to others. Some Famous People with Sun Square Moon: Geena Davis, Michael Douglas, Ricky Martin.People born with a Sun-Moon tension can spend much of their lives struggling to balance the principles of the Sun and the Moon within their personalities, and will bring this struggle to some degree into their relationships. The urge to form meaningful relationships is generally powerful, but relationships can be as much of a struggle to these natives as the inner conflict is to themselves. This inner conflict occurs with the square, opposition, and quincunx. The desire to find meaningful relationships is stronger than it is when the natal Sun and Moon form a sextile or trine, and early relationships in particular can be challenging until the stressful aspects are recognized as an inner tension.A stressful Sun-Moon aspect seems to imprint the native with the (often unconscious) expectation that relationships can very easily fail, and the natives will be especially aware of conflicts in partnership, taking them to heart. The upside of this natal conflict is found in this sensitivity itself! Those with a Sun-Moon opposition, in particular, are generally willing to work out problems in a relationship due to their acute awareness and sensitivity to the conflicts that arise in their partnerships. However, if they face a partner who denies the problems exist in the first place, as in the example above, they can easily become frustrated. This is because learning and growing through relationships is a basic urge – so basic that it is a need. These natives are learning about themselves through their relationships, and need partners who are willing to be a part of that process. Sun square Moon suggests an internal “war” between two equally powerful desires: the desire for emotional commitment and the desire for autonomy. The native can be quite defensive and even belligerent with others, and often over-sensitive, which can take its toll in personal relationships. Partners may complain that the native often seems to be spoiling for a fight, and relationships can be turbulent until the native learns to compromise.

You have an appreciation, and perhaps talent, for photography, the arts, poetry, fiction, spirituality, advertising, and promotion. You are naturally open to metaphysical or spiritual concepts. Many of you have psychic ability, or at least very good hunches. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Neptune have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Neptune: Sextiles – Brad Pitt, Fred Astaire, Drew Barrymore, John Cleese; Trines – Vanessa Redgrave, Michael J. Mercury

Mercury Conjunct Pluto

The force of your will is behind your thoughts and words today. You have plans to change things and the necessary power to do so. Be open-minded with others and be tolerant of their beliefs. You don't always have to be right and they will appreciate seeing that in you. Whatever you tackle today you will want to get at its deepest roots. You are capable of great focus and depth of thought, as well as concentration. You easily become serious and pensive. Determined and sometimes exhaustive effort is a strength, and depth of perception as well. However, sometimes your desire to turn ideas inside out can work against you, to the point of obsession, suspicion, and mistrust. You are a born skeptic of anything that appears superficial or overly straightforward. You always look for a hidden meaning, desiring to get to the bottom line, and with people, to lay bare motivation. You are intellectually fascinated with all that is hidden, taboo, secret, or suppressed. You can be provocative in your communications, often subtly so. You can also be sarcastic and cutting. You can be so determined to find answers, or even to convert others to your frame of mind, that you end up wasting energy beating a dead horse. You are excellent at developing strategies and can be very clever and cunning, although this is essentially on an intellectual level — manipulation is more an intellectual exercise rather than something coming from the heart. Of course, it is up to you how to use your abilities. You enjoy a good mystery to solve, clever plot twists, and darker art forms. You have a powerful and stubborn mind. You are a great researcher and a good detective. This doesn’t always help in your personal life. Others may find you too suspicious, too challenging, or too secretive. You are always mulling things over inside of yourself. You live in a sea of mental symbolism. You respond to implications and inferences rather than to people, circumstances and events. You have a special knack for mathematics, symbolic logic, computers, biology, and meditation. At times your mind will overload and you seem to do a reversal, overlooking the simplest details that others take for granted. Get rest and learn when to stop and start. – Interpretation sample from the In-Depth Profile report. Some Famous People with Mercury conjunct Pluto: Harry S. Truman, Sylvester Stallone, Della Reese, River Phoenix, Stanley Kubrick, Whitney Houston, Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
