Solar activity was low. Region 3536 (N05W20 at 08/0000UTC, Eai/beta-gamma) produced the largest event of the period, a C6/1N flare at 07/0752. The region grew in area and flux emergence was captured by SDO/HMI imagery. This was one of 10 regions on the visible disk. The two other beta-gamma regions were 3539 (N11W01, Dri) and 3540 (S17E47, Eki) and 3430 was the largest of all the regions.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently normal.

The solar wind environment was nominal. Total magnetic field strength was below 5 nT and Bz was mostly neutral. Solar wind speeds were presumably slow but actual wind measurements were obscured by peak tracking issues on the DSCOVR spacecraft. Between gaps in data, the ACE spacecraft reported winds speeds between 300-350 km/s. Phi angle was predominantly negative.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 20% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Sagittarius

Greetings, stardust-dusted earthlings! The cosmic roulette wheel has spun once more, and today we find ourselves under the expansive and adventurous influence of our Moon cosplaying as Sagittarius. Grab your favourite telescope and take a peek; it's 380,930.675279840km away. Yep, I calculated that while I was waiting for my organic, fair-trade, chai latte to steep. Didn't you? In true Sagittarian style, the moon is shouting from her celestial rooftop, "Adventure awaits!" And given she's in Sagittarius, that adventure might involve an intellectual debate about the existential implications of Schroedinger's cat, or perhaps a spontaneous road trip to the world's largest ball of yarn. Either way, buckle up! While this lunar phase encourages us to seek out the new and unexplored, remember that Sagittarius also has a tendency to over-promise and under-deliver. So, if a multi-verse traveling wizard invites you on a quest to discover the lost city of Atlantis, take it with a pinch of astro-salt. This lunar position is all about expanding your horizons, so let loose your curiosity, but don't forget to pack a compass. After all, Sagittarius is half horse, half archer, and while that may be great for mythological barbeques, it's not exactly known for its sense of direction. To sum it up, my dear star children, the Moon in Sagittarius is calling us to adventure, but it's also reminding us to keep one foot (or hoof) in reality. It's a day to dream big, but also to remember that even the most exciting journey begins with a single step...or in our case, a hop, skip and a jump across the universe. Happy stargazing!

Mercury

Mercury Is In Sagittarius

Alright, stargazers, grab your compasses, calculators, and maybe a stiff drink, because we're diving deep into the cosmic pool today. Mercury, our chatty cousin planet and celestial mail carrier, has decided to take a vacation in Sagittarius. Now, let's not panic, this isn't as catastrophic as finding out your favorite coffee shop is out of almond milk. Trust me, there are still soy latte days ahead. Mercury, known for its meticulous attention to detail, is playing house in the land of Sagittarius, the big-picture dreamer. It's like Sheldon Cooper trying to understand the appeal of Woodstock. But, strangely enough, this could work in our favor. Think of it this way - now's the time to plan that trip to Mars you've always dreamed about, but don't forget to pack the toothpaste. Sagittarius carries a whiff of excitement like they've just discovered the TARDIS is real. So, with Mercury vacationing there, expect lively conversations that could rival a panel discussion at Comic Con. Just remember, in all the excitement, keep your Spock logic handy. We don't want any galactic wars caused by a misinterpreted Star Wars vs Star Trek debate. Keep in mind, while Mercury is cosplaying as Sagittarius, you might feel an urge to blurt out truths like you've been hit with a dose of Veritaserum. Double-check your facts before you proclaim that Pluto is not a planet, or worse, diss the new Doctor Who. Now, on the brighter side, Sagittarius, our celestial Indiana Jones, encourages us to explore new realms. So, gear up! Whether it's planning a road trip to Roswell, enrolling in a quantum physics class, or simply switching coffee beans, this is the time to broaden your horizons. So, fellow cosmic voyagers, let's embrace this Mercury in Sagittarius phase. Let's navigate the chaos, and maybe, just maybe, we'll discover that the answers to life's biggest questions aren't as far away as they seem. May the Force be with you! (And don't forget your towel!)

Venus

Venus is in Sagittarius

Venus is prograde at 11 Sag 28' 11", moving at 1.22 degrees per day, and is 183525942km away and receding.

Venus Is In Sagittarius

Alright, celestial chums, strap in and hold on to your telescopes! Our cosmic BFF Venus has packed her bags and sauntered her way into Sagittarius. Now, I know what you're thinking: "What does that mean for me?" Well, buckle up, star gazers, because things are about to get interesting! Remember when you were a kid and you'd spin the globe, close your eyes and point, promising yourself you'd visit wherever your finger landed? Well, that kind of spontaneous adventurousness is what we're dealing with here. Sagittarius is like that quirky, backpacking friend who's always posting pictures from some exotic location and can't stay put for more than five minutes. With Venus vibing in Sagittarius, you might feel an urge to ditch the daily grind, trade your couch for a camel, and set off on an adventure. Seriously, it's like a cosmic clearance sale where everything must go – including old routines and tired relationships. Love during this transit is like trying to catch smoke with a butterfly net. It's exciting, it's elusive, and it refuses to sit still. If you're already hitched, why not shake things up? Take a road trip to a place neither of you have been or learn something new together. If you're single, keep your eyes open! Love could be lurking in the most unexpected places – like a quantum physics lecture or a sci-fi book club. But here's the catch. With Sagittarius, things can often seem better than they actually are. That glittering new love interest might just be fool's gold. That dreamy vacation spot may turn out to be a tourist trap. So keep your wits about you, folks! Also, remember Sagittarius is the sign that invented YOLO. So, you might find yourself throwing caution - and cash - to the wind. Watch out for impulsive spending, gambling, and general frivolity. But hey, if you want to invest in that astrology course or book that trip to the Andromeda galaxy, go for it! So, in conclusion, while Venus is doing her cosmic cha-cha in Sagittarius, remember to embrace the spirit of adventure, keep an open heart, but also a grounded mind. Let's make the most of this galactic opportunity to look at the bright side of everything. As they say, the more positivity we radiate, the more we attract. Or as I like to put it, you get back what you astronom

Mars in Capricorn: A Different Kind of Martian Invasion

Well, stargazers and cosmic enthusiasts, guess who's just moved into the neighborhood? That's right, it's Mars, setting up shop in the ol' Goat's house, Capricorn. Now, you might be thinking, "What's a hot-headed planet like Mars doing in the reserved and practical sign of Capricorn?" Well, folks, it’s kind of like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory doing a stint on The Office - it's going to be interesting, that's for sure!

When Mars, the cosmic action hero, lands in Capricorn, forget about any fantasies of teleportation or time travel. Our fiery friend is trading in his space suit for a business suit. Mars in Capricorn wants us to put down our comic books, assess what lies ahead, strategize our next superhero move, and turn our wildest dreams into working realities.

This is not about haphazardly throwing ourselves into the fray; it's more like a rigorous game of chess with Spock. It's all about questioning not just the 'why' but the 'how'. Let's face it, we could all do with a bit of Vulcan logic and planning.

This transit is the perfect time to break out your inner Tony Stark. Start that ambitious project you've been procrastinating on, get back to finishing that model Death Star that's been gathering dust since '77, or simply re-evaluate your life goals. I mean, do you really need to collect every single Star Trek commemorative plate?

But remember, dear stargazers, while Mars and Capricorn are both more than ready to boldly go where no one has gone before, they're not exactly the best at handling emotions. Don't turn into a Borg, ignoring the needs of others in your quest for success. A little compassion goes a long way. After all, who wants to reach the top only to find they've become the Darth Vader of their own life story?

So, grab your lightsabers and tricorders, it's going to be a wild ride. Just remember, even in the most epic of space battles, it's the heart, not the phaser, that truly matters.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Jupiter Meets Taurus: A Star Wars Episode

So, my dear Earthlings, the interstellar Jedi master, Jupiter, has decided to pay a visit to the cosmic bull, Taurus. Now, imagine if Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Taurus - he'd probably have a lot more patience dealing with Anakin's mood swings. But I digress.

Jupiter, the Yoda of our solar system, is all about wisdom and deep thought while Taurus, much like Chewbacca, is steady and strong. When these two come together, it's like finding out you've had the Force inside you all along. It’s not in some galaxy far, far away, it's in you, my friend! Just be careful not to lose it in the black hole of daily life's distractions.

Now, with Jupiter in Taurus, it's like having your very own Millennium Falcon for reaching your dreams or long-term goals. It's time for some light speed progress, but remember to plan your route first. Even Han Solo had a plan... well, sort of.

If you're looking to hit the jackpot like Lando Calrissian, this could be your lucky transit. With Jupiter - the planet equivalent of a winning lottery ticket - in Taurus, the zodiac's Bill Gates, you might just find yourself swimming in Galactic Credits. But be careful, my young Padawan. There's a thin line between need and want.

Taurus, like Jabba the Hutt, enjoys the finer things in life. So when Jupiter, the planet of expansion, meets the sign that’s known to overindulge, you might find yourself tempted by the Dark Side of impulse spending. Remember, patience and careful consideration are your lightsabers during this transit.

So buckle up, my starry-eyed friends. The Jupiter-Taurus transit could be an epic saga of personal growth and success, or a space opera of excessive indulgence. The choice, as always, is yours. May the Force be with you!

Saturn Is In Pisces

Galactic Guidance: Saturn in Pisces

Alright, star gazers, it's time to buckle up and slap on your space helmets. Our favorite celestial taskmaster, Saturn, is doing the backstroke through the watery depths of Pisces. That's right - the stern school principal of planets is vacationing in La La Land. But don't be fooled, he didn't pack his Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops. Nope, he's here on business, and Pisces' dreamy realm is about to get a reality check.

Saturn in Pisces is like having your subconscious projected onto a giant IMAX screen for all to see - and then getting a bill for the popcorn. It’s a cosmic audit of your deepest dreams. You know that wild idea you've been nurturing about opening a cat cafe on Mars? It's time to either put up or shut up. But fear not, my intergalactic entrepreneurs, this transit isn’t all doom and gloom. Saturn might be a stern taskmaster, but he's also a master builder. He’s here to make sure those dreams are worth their weight in stardust.

However, it's not going to be all sunshine and space rainbows. Saturn didn't earn his reputation as the 'Celestial Party Pooper' for nothing. He’s known for crashing into our dreamscapes like a comet with no regard for “Do Not Disturb” signs. Don't fight it. Instead, invite him in for tea, let him don his rubber gloves, and help you scrub your dreams clean of unnecessary fluff. Sure, it might feel like an invasion at first, but imagine this - even Darth Vader had some good advice to give, once in a while.

With Saturn making waves in Pisces, the realm of sleep and dreams, you might find sleep as elusive as a black hole. Instead of counting sheep, try counting shooting stars. Meditate, connect with nature, take deep breaths, and if all else fails, nap like a cat (but have a dream journal ready!). The cosmos is whispering some deep wisdom during this transit, you just need to tune into the right cosmic frequency.

So remember, brave stargazers, while Saturn in Pisces might feel like you're navigating through a nebula without a map, it's also a unique opportunity to manifest your dreams into reality. After all, who said the path to

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 19 Tau 14' 42", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 2853785697km away and receding.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Lights, camera, aaaaand action! Good golly, Uranus has parked its celestial rear end in Taurus! Now, imagine Uranus as that eccentric uncle who shows up uninvited to your meticulously organized tea party, wearing neon sunglasses and blasting dubstep from his vintage boombox. He's here to shake things up, whether you're ready or not! Now, let's talk about Taurus. If Taurus was a song, it would be "Sweet Home Alabama." It loves the comfortable, the familiar, the steady, the stable. And guess what? It’s also a total nerd for money! So, what happens when you mix an unpredictable uncle with an old-school banker? Let's explore, shall we? With Uranus in Taurus, think of money like it’s a whole new episode of Star Trek - bold, innovative, uncharted. We're talking about those mind-blowing sci-fi concepts - cryptocurrencies, digital banks, smart contracts, and maybe even free Bitcoin giveaways by aliens (okay, maybe not that last one...yet). Hold onto your calculators, folks, because the world of finance is about to get a whole new season reboot! On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix, offering you a choice between the red pill and the blue pill. Will you continue to be enslaved by the monetary system - debt, taxes, mortgages and all that jazz? Or, will you take the leap and redefine your relationship with material possessions? Uranus is that nagging voice in your head saying, "Hey, let's try something new, shall we? Yes, yes, I know you don't like changes. But trust me, it's like upgrading from a dial-up connection to WiFi." And remember, while Uranus may seem like a chaotic force, it's actually a cosmic liberator. It's here to free you from old patterns, like a celestial Marie Kondo urging you to declutter your life. The changes made during this period might feel like riding a roller coaster with a blindfold on, but they could lead to a more stable and fulfilling path. So, buckle up, space cadets! Remember, the best way to predict your future is to create it. Now, off you go. Make it so, my fellow stargazers!

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is prograde at 25 Pis 11' 46", moving at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 4527128970km away and receding.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Well, pull up a star chart and check your oxygen levels, because Neptune has taken a detour through Pisces, and it's about as exciting as watching paint dry in zero gravity. Now, I know what you're thinking: "But isn't Neptune always in Pisces?" Well, yes, my scientifically-minded star gazers, but it's like when your grandma visits. Even though she's always technically 'in the family', things just get a bit more...interesting...when she's actually in the house. Neptune, that big blue gas giant, is about 4.5 billion kilometers away, give or take a light year. It's currently going prograde, which in astrology terms means it's moving forward. In nerd speak, it's like when you finally beat that tough level in your favorite video game after 30 tries. Now, let's talk about what this all means for you. You know how sometimes you feel like an Ewok in a world full of Stormtroopers? That's kind of what Neptune in Pisces feels like. It's like being in a giant cosmic soup, where everything blends together and there are no petty differences. This transit is like a celestial call to action, a bit like when Obi-Wan told Luke that he was his only hope, but less dramatic. It's time to explore your own emotional Death Star and figure out what you can contribute to our galactic community. Maybe you're a Jedi in the making, or perhaps you're more of a behind-the-scenes droid. Either way, it's time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. If you've been thinking about exploring a new spiritual path, now's the time to do it. Whether it's meditation, yoga, or learning how to use The Force, Neptune in Pisces is here to support you. And who knows? Maybe you'll discover that you've had the power to levitate objects with your mind all along. So, in the words of the great Obi-Wan Kenobi, "May the Force (or Neptune in Pisces) be with you."

Pluto in Capricorn: The Cosmic Bulldozer Meets the Goat

Firstly, let's address the elephant in the room. No, scratch that, the dwarf planet in the room - Pluto. It's in Capricorn, and it's a whopping 5,368,640,118.642186165km away – yes, I did the math. Or rather, my trusty calculator did. But enough with the nerdy stuff, let's get down to astro-business.

So, what happens when you put Pluto, the mysterious cosmic overlord of transformation, in the same room as Capricorn, the workaholic goat of the zodiac? Well, imagine a bulldozer wearing a business suit, relentlessly plowing through anything that doesn't contribute to the bottom line. Yeah, it's that intense.

Pluto and Capricorn together are like that overachieving power couple everyone secretly admires but also fears. They're all about success, power, and getting things done, even if it means stepping on a few toes (or hooves) along the way. In this transit, empathy might take a backseat faster than you can say "But what about my feelings?" So beware, my cosmic friends, of turning into that guy who shoots down every idea that isn't his own. Remember, not everyone can appreciate the beauty of an Excel spreadsheet like you do.

On the flip side, Pluto is also inviting us to channel our inner Marie Kondo and chuck out any negative patterns that no longer spark joy. This involves some destruction, of course, but think of it as cosmic house cleaning. You're not just throwing stuff out; you're making space for new, shiny things. So, pull up your sleeves, grab your metaphorical sledgehammer and start smashing those unhelpful habits. But be careful – you don't want to accidentally demolish the good stuff along with the bad. That would be like throwing away your Star Wars collectibles because you're trying to declutter. Tragic.

In short, Pluto in Capricorn is all about power, change, and ruthless efficiency. So buckle up, put on your safety goggles, and get ready for some cosmic construction work. Just remember to keep it light and don't forget to laugh at the absurdity of it all. After all, we're just tiny beings on a little blue planet trying to make

Today is a good day to pour your creativity and self-expression into coming up with new ways of doing things. Positive surprises are likely today as your aura is ready for the new and unusual. By going off the beaten pathway, you may open up many possibilities for further spiritual and personal growth. You feel free today from all restrictions and you want to fly like the eagle, unbounded by any restraints. Soar high and don't limit yourself.

Mercury

Mercury Square Neptune

Confusion is likely today in your relationships with other people. Take care and read all the fine print. Stay away from taking permanent legal actions as your thinking is colored by who knows what. You may be suckered into something you don't want to do or don't believe in, so watch your step. Misunderstandings in communicating with others is possible. Remember, they may not be hearing what you are trying to say. Nervous anxiety and tension may make you feel listless today. Don't let your imagination carry you away. You might have problems concentrating because your mind is often wandering. Your thinking is exceptionally imaginative, intuitive, and creative. Stretching the truth, whether done consciously or not (or a bit of both), is associated with this position. Bored with anything dull, routine, or lifeless, you often dramatize or connect higher meaning to ordinary events and situations. You are often vague in your communications, purposefully or not, as you resist being pinned down to any one opinion or stance. This is partly due to your ability to see so many different points of view and perspectives. Logical, detail-oriented work and studies are not designed for your way of thinking and learning. Creative presentations, ripe with images and imagery, are what grab your attention and interest. Your style of communication, or possibly thinking, is often self-defeating, and you should consciously avoid a tendency to give up on projects or plans before they even get off the ground. Planning ahead is not a preference, as you prefer to move along running on the fuel of inspiration and intuition.Your style of communication may be unusual, perhaps with many pauses or digressions. You may be deliberately vague or unintentionally so, depending on your nature. Some of you are great storytellers.Sample interpretation from the Merlin report — Your mind is highly imaginative and creative and you possess dramatic, artistic, or musical abilities. As a child, you enjoyed daydreaming, fantasizing, pretending, and probably lived in “your own little world” a good deal. You perceive things which are not obvious to other people and you have an uncanny ability to “read” people and situations without being told anything about them. However, you must learn to discriminate between a true psychic perception and your imagination. Learning to discipline and focus your mind is necessary if you wish to use all of your creative potential. Otherwise, you could be simply a dreamer.Communication with others is difficult for you because you often find words frustrating and inadequate to express your experiences and perceptions. Also, you may purposefully mystify or deceive others. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, Donald Trump, Jim Bakker, Mae West, Spencer Tracy, Tom Snyder, Rich Little, Jack London, Bob Dylan; Oppositions – Bono (U2), Marlene Dietrich, Richard Chamberlain, Florence Henderson, Charles De Gaulle, Christian Dior.

You need a partner who can keep up with your lightning responses to your environment - and one who truly understands your love of intellectual competition and sparring. You have tremendous personal resources with which to achieve your goals. Although the goals you set for yourself are likely to be somewhat ambitious, you are willing to work hard to see that they are achieved. Ever since you were a child and learned to invent indoor games to amuse yourself, you have steadily worked at developing your intellectual skills. This prepared you to deal well with competitive situations in your adult life.Communication is important to you. Your dramatic delivery and flair for using the right words make you a formidable opponent in any debate. It is particularly difficult to win a debate with you because you only present information that is well documented and convincing. You also use this skill to come to the aid of others who cannot defend themselves intellectually, which is admirable indeed!Others admire your confidence and straightforwardness. You respect others who stand firm on their convictions and have high ambitions. It is important that everyone who deals with you does so with honesty and integrity. In your love life, you appreciate a partner who is intellectually strong. You have a strong sex drive, but without the mental component, no relationship will last very long. You also seek a partner with spiritual consciousness. Your warmth and enthusiasm on a sexual level is apparent, and you don’t tire easily. Your interest doesn’t fade easily over time. — Interpretation sample from our LoveStyles report. This aspect indicates a harmony between your intellect and your physical strength, and you will most likely have little difficulty achieving your goals in life. It may appear to others that you are lucky sometimes, but you are also good at applying your talents to attain the desired results. You have a natural ability to be in the right place to grab new opportunities or to initiate a well-timed project. You are often successful in competition but sometimes may not even enter the contest because it doesn’t seem worth it to you.You are honest and forthright in your dealings with others, and you tend to trust others readily. You can be a bit careless about spending money, however, and this is probably because you are so eternally optimistic that there will always be plenty around. The possibility of failure does not enter your mind, although success itself is not that important to you–you’re just being you.In your relationships you are attracted to others who also seek a harmonious lifestyle. Your sexual nature is very strong, but you seek more than physical gratification from your mate. You want someone who will share in your life entirely and grow to know and understand you intimately. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
