Solar activity reached high levels due to an M6.3/1n flare (R2-Moderate) at 15/0715 UTC and an M6.9/Sf flare (R2-Moderate) at 15/0734 UTC, all from Region 3514 (N05W68, Ekc/beta-gamma-delta). A 1200 sfu 10cm radio burst was observed at 15/0801 UTC, likely associated with the M6.9flare. An associated CME was observed off the SW limb at 15/0748 UTC. Modelling of the event combined with CMEs associated with an M5.8 flare at 14/0744 UTC and an X2.8/1b flare (R3-Strong) at 14/1702 UTC indicated a likely arrival of the combined CMEs mid to late on 16 Dec. Other activity included an approximate 7 degree filament eruption centered near S23W06 that began at 15/2040 UTC. Further coronagraph imagery is needed for analysis.

The solar kp index is active, reinforcing retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is very high, making retrograde effects extremely increased!

Solar wind parameters indicated the arrival of a CME beginning at 15/1057 UTC, possibly from a CME that left the Sun on 11 Dec. Total field increased from 4 nT to 11 nT initially. Reached a maximum of 20 nT at 15/1440 UTC and decreased to around 6 nT by the end of the period. The Bz component ranged from +17/-12 nT. Solar wind speed was initially suspect through 15/1056 UTC. Afterwards, it ranged from 370-510 km/s. Phi angle was mostly positive.

There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 30% chance of a minor event, a 30% chance of a moderate event, and a 10% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Aquarius

Well, dear star gazers and celestial voyagers, grab your lightsabers and hitch a ride on the Millennium Falcon because tonight, the Moon is hanging out in Aquarius, approximately 368,079.039123687km away. Yes, you heard it right, I said Aquarius, not Alderaan. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Leia, how does this affect me?" Well, let me tell you, the force is strong with this one. With the Moon in Aquarius, expect an emotional surge similar to the time Han Solo told me he loved me and I responded with, 'I know'. Be ready for unexpected declarations of love, or possibly just a sudden craving for blue milk. You might find yourself feeling a little more rebellious than usual, ready to take on the Galactic Empire, or maybe just your boss. Just remember, even if you're stuck in a trash compactor with a dianoga, keep your wits about you. There's always a solution. Also, the Moon being this specific distance away is your cosmic cue to maintain some personal space. Not as much as Luke and I needed after that unfortunate kiss, but a healthy dose nevertheless. So, whether you're a Jedi knight, a rogue smuggler, or a princess leading a rebellion, remember to go with the flow of the Force, or in this case, the pull of the moon. And don't forget, no matter how chaotic things get, there's always a chance to shoot for the stars...or at least blow up a Death Star. May the Force (and this Moon in Aquarius) be with you!

Mercury

Mercury is in Capricorn

Mercury is retrograde at 07 Cap 40' 25", moving backwards at 0.56 degrees per day, and is 111550434km away and approaching.

Mercury Is In Capricorn

Ahoy, cosmic voyagers! Buckle up, because our speedy messenger planet Mercury has hopped onto the Capricorn express, and things are about to get real... nerdy. Now, Mercury in Capricorn is like a celestial Spock – logical, strategic, and might just raise an eyebrow at your inefficient ways. With this transit, we're all turning into productivity gurus, making Marie Kondo look like a novice in her own game. You know that 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle you've been avoiding? It's time to conquer it, my friend. Capricorn, the zodiac's very own business tycoon, means business. As Mercury visits its cosmic corner office, it's sprinkling some serious CEO vibes on us all. Suddenly, your thoughts are as streamlined as Elon Musk's Hyperloop. You’re cutting through the fluff in conversations faster than a lightsaber through butter. And let's talk about the birth of ideas. It's like a cosmic Ikea - we're getting flat packed thoughts, ready to be assembled into something solid. You've got an idea for a toaster that also brews coffee? Go for it, the universe has your back! But remember, cosmic comrades, with great power comes great responsibility (Thanks, Spiderman!). As much as we're feeling like the kings and queens of the intellectual castle, we must not let our royal status go to our heads. Capricorn has a thing for hierarchy, so keep an eye out for any tendencies to turn conversational chess into Game of Thrones. In short, while Mercury moonwalks in retrograde through Capricorn, it's all about strategy, efficiency, and a sprinkle of humility. So, let’s put on our thinking caps, fire up our problem-solving engines, and remember to play nice. Because the only thing worse than Mercury retrograde is a planetary popularity contest. No one wants that, trust me!

Venus

Venus is in Scorpio

Venus is prograde at 13 Sco 37' 16", moving at 1.2 degrees per day, and is 161514337km away and receding.

Venus Is In Scorpio

Ahoy, celestial voyagers! Buckle up because Venus is in Scorpio and we're in for a star-studded rollercoaster ride! Remember how much fun we had when Mars was in Libra? Well, forget that. This is a whole new ball game where the stakes are high, the players are passionate, and the love triangle is... well, it's more like a love dodecahedron really. Think of Venus as your sociable friend who seems to know everyone at the party, and always has a smile ready, while Scorpio is that intense individual in the corner, wearing black and brooding over a glass of red wine. Now imagine them getting together. Yeah, things are about to get real interesting! During this time, we'll be craving meaningful experiences like a hippie craves tie-dye and organic granola. You thought you were deep before? Honey, you're about to dive headfirst into the Mariana Trench of emotions. When Venus is doing the tango with Scorpio, we trade in our one-night stands for love stories that make Romeo and Juliet look like a casual fling. Those annoying thoughts you've been ignoring like an overdue library book? They're about to come knocking at your mental door demanding attention and possibly late fees. It's a time to go spelunking in the caves of our relationships, find those hidden truths, and bring them out into the daylight like a bat on a caffeine high. Power struggles become as obvious as a supernova in a dark sky and money concerns crawl out from under the bed like dust bunnies on steroids. And speaking of money, you might feel a stronger pull towards making financial decisions. Just remember, just because you have a strong interest in buying that life-size replica of the Starship Enterprise, doesn't mean it's a wise investment. But hey, don't let the gravity of the situation weigh you down. Venus in Scorpio is like Star Trek's Kobayashi Maru - it might seem like a no-win scenario, but with creativity, courage and a little bit of cheating (I mean, 'thinking outside the box'), you might just end up stronger and closer to your loved ones than ever before. In conclusion, keep your phasers set to 'love', and remember to boldly go where no man or woman has gone before. Because in the grand cosmic scheme of things, isn't that what life's all about?

Mars in Sagittarius: The Ultimate Cosmic Road Trip

Hold on to your space helmets, folks because Mars has officially set up camp in Sagittarius, and things are about to get real. It's like the universe decided to throw a giant cosmic BYOB party (Bring Your Own Beliefs) and Mars RSVP'd with a solid "heck yeah!"

Our fiery friend Mars is swapping its usual laser gun for Sagittarius' bow and arrow, aiming for the stars and then some. You thought you had big dreams? Well, Mars in Sagittarius just ordered an extra-large with a side of 'anything is possible' sauce.

But here's the rub - while we're all happily daydreaming about our next big adventure, we might forget that we're still here on Earth. You know, that little blue planet with gravity and stuff? So, while you're planning your leap to the moon, don't forget to tie your shoelaces. We wouldn't want any intergalactic faceplants now, would we?

And speaking of going overboard, Mars in Sagittarius could turn us all into cosmic hoarders. We're not just talking about physical stuff here. We're talking ideas, cultures, philosophies – everything but the kitchen sink. And maybe the sink too, if it's from an interesting enough culture!

So, loosen up those belief systems. It's time for some serious cosmic expansion. But remember, there's no need to charter a spacecraft just yet. Your journey can be as simple as cracking open a new book, signing up for that quantum physics class you've been eyeing, or inviting your new alien neighbor over for a cup of tea. After all, the greatest journeys often start within the comfort of our own minds.

So rev up those mental engines, star gazers! With Mars in Sagittarius, the universe isn't just your oyster, it's your personal playground. But remember, no running and absolutely NO diving in the shallow end. We're all about safety here.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Jupiter in Taurus: The Cosmic Snorlax

Listen up, my celestial comrades! Jupiter, the big ol' gas giant—no, not your Uncle Bob after Thanksgiving dinner; I'm talking about the planet—is currently hanging out with Taurus, the hard-headed bull of the zodiac. This is the cosmic equivalent of, say, Albert Einstein deciding to take a nap on your couch. Intriguing, no?

So, Jupiter's taking a breather in Taurus. What's this mean for you? Well, it's like having Yoda whispering wisdom in your ear while you're elbow-deep in your spring cleaning. The Force is strong with this one, so you'll find yourself drawn towards introspection and contemplation. Your inner philosopher will awaken, pestering you with questions about life, the universe, and why socks always disappear in the washing machine.

Jupiter’s staycation in Taurus also gives you a cosmic kick in the pants to chase your dreams. Think of it as a planetary pep rally where cheerleaders don Taurus bull horns and shout, "Just do it! But, you know, strategically and without rushing!" You’ll feel the urge to draft those to-do lists and, by the cosmos, actually get things done. It's like New Year's resolutions, but without the guilt of breaking them by February.

Now, don't forget, Jupiter's also known as the Santa Claus of the solar system—bringing gifts of luck and prosperity. And Taurus? Taurus is like Scrooge McDuck, swimming in a vault of wealth. Together, they might just usher in a prosperous phase for your finances. So, go ahead, check your bank balance—you might be pleasantly surprised!

But here's the catch: Taurus also loves the finer things in life, like artisanal cheese and 1000-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. When Jupiter, the celestial enabler, winks at Taurus, you may feel an urge to splurge. Remember, folks, the cosmos giveth, and the credit card bill taketh away! So practice patience and avoid impulse buys—unless it's a telescope. You can always justify a telescope.

Saturn in Pisces: A Space-Time Story

Take a deep breath, space cadets, because we’re headed on a cosmic journey into the nebulous realm of Pisces, but this time, our traveling buddy is Saturn. Yes, folks, we're about to hitch a ride with the Master of Rules himself, and he’s on a mission to turn our starry-eyed daydreams into tangible reality. So, grab your space notepad, don your metaphorical lab coat, and brace yourself for an interstellar coaching session from the universe.

Now, you might be thinking, "Saturn in Pisces? That sounds like mixing particle physics with interpretive dance!" Well, you're not wrong. But when the celestial taskmaster visits the final sign of the zodiac, it's like getting the most stern yet surprisingly insightful life coach in the galaxy. They're not just going to pat you on the back and tell you your dreams are pretty; oh no, they're going to ask the hard questions like, "Have you considered gravity in your plan to fly?" or "Do you have the necessary oxygen supply for this voyage?" It's time to buckle up, do the math, and start turning those 'maybes' into 'definitelys'.

You might feel a bit like a goldfish under a microscope with this cosmic combo, but remember, Saturn isn't here to rain on your parade. Sure, he may seem like the dad who barges into your room uninvited, but let’s be real, sometimes we need someone to remind us to tidy up and take out the trash. So, instead of hanging a "Keep Out" sign, try leaving the door ajar. Who knows, Saturn's advice might just be the cosmic cleaning hack your dreams have been waiting for.

Now, with all this commotion in the Piscean realm - traditionally associated with dreams and sleep - you might find yourself feeling a tad restless. Think of it as the universe's way of saying, "Hey, let's not forget about self-care!" So, meditate, go for a walk in the woods, practice your deep breathing, and even indulge in an early night. And remember, keep that dream journal handy! With Saturn in Pisces, who knows what nuggets of wisdom your dreams may hold?

So, friends, as we journey through this cosmic transit, remember that Saturn isn't here to

Uranus

Uranus Is In Taurus

Uranus In Taurus: The Cosmic Bull's Eye

Alright stargazers, strap on your space boots. Uranus is in Taurus and it's like a bull in a china shop...a cosmic one, of course! Now, Taurus is a sign that likes its morning coffee the same way every day and prefers bingeing their favourite Netflix series to cliff diving. Big, sudden changes? Not their cup of tea. But guess what? Uranus didn't get the memo.

This planet is the rebel of the zodiac, the punk rocker with neon hair, always ready to stir the pot. And in Taurus? Oh boy, it's like trying to teach a granny to use Snapchat - it's going to be a wild ride, whether we like it or not! But here's the thing, sometimes granny's snap is cooler than you'd think, and these changes might just lead us somewhere exciting.

Now, Taurus knows money like the back of its hoof, so with Uranus pulling the financial rug out from underneath us, we're in for some seriously revolutionary ways of dealing with our moolah. We might be bartering with alien currencies, banking might become as outdated as the fax machine, and the housing and stock markets could turn into roller coaster rides. Hang on to your hats, folks!

On the personal front, Uranus in Taurus is telling us to break free from financial shackles. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, mortgages - they're like those annoying pop-up ads that keep us from enjoying our online shopping spree. Our relationship with money and materialism is about to change, whether we're ready or not - kinda like when your favourite band switches genres...surprise!

Can we resist this cosmic shake-up? Sure, we can try, but it's like trying to stop a tsunami with a beach umbrella. The changes are coming, and they're offering us a ticket to a potentially more stable life. So let's embrace them! After all, change is the only constant in the universe...and on Uranus's playlist!

Neptune's Pisces Party - BYOB (Bring Your Own Beliefs)

Hey there, space cadets! Grab your telescopes and point them 4,468,804,190.065529823km (give or take a few inches) towards our big blue buddy Neptune, who's currently cutting a rug in the Piscean dance floor. That's right folks, Neptune is going prograde, which in astrological terms means it's moving forward. Kinda like when you finally delete the number of your ex you broke up with 6 months ago. Progress!

Now, Neptune in Pisces, it's like when your favorite peanut butter collides with your beloved jelly, creating a sandwich of cosmic enlightenment. Except, instead of PB&J, we're dealing with emotion and spirit merging with unification vibes. It's like looking through a pair of foggy glasses, then someone comes along with a microfiber cloth and – voila! Suddenly, you can see how pointless it is to argue whether 'Star Trek' or 'Star Wars' is superior. (The correct answer is Doctor Who, by the way).

This planetary party is essentially an interstellar wake-up call, reminding us to consider what we can bring to the universal potluck for collective progress and healing. Maybe you've got a killer vegan brownie recipe, or perhaps you're fantastic at making everyone feel included at gatherings. Whatever your unique offering, Neptune in Pisces is your VIP invite to bring it to the table.

Feeling a spiritual void? This might just be the perfect time to enroll in that online course on Zen Buddhism you've been eyeing or turn that dusty corner of your room into a sacred space filled with crystals, incense, and an impressive collection of succulents. Then, share your newfound spiritual wisdom with the world, or at least, your Instagram followers.

Just remember, cosmic compadres, Neptune in Pisces is like a celestial spotlight, illuminating the path to wholeness. And if you ever feel lost, just remember that it's 4,468,804,190.065529823km away and moving forward. So can you!

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Pluto in Capricorn: The Cosmic Comedy of Conquest and Construction

Well, folks, buckle up your space belts and prepare for some cosmic humor because Pluto – that celestial underdog, the planet that had its planetary status revoked only to be reassigned again, is currently lounging in Capricorn. Yes, the same Capricorn that's roughly as fun at parties as a quadratic equation.

Now, Pluto and Capricorn are both a bit like that super ambitious friend of yours who organizes their sock drawer by color, season, and thread count. They're all about success, power, and getting things done - even if it means bulldozing over the opinions and feelings of others like a runaway Mars Rover. Careful there, you might just find yourself becoming allergic to any idea that isn't stamped with your personal seal of approval.

But let’s not forget, Pluto isn’t just about sipping cosmic cocktails in the VIP lounge of universal power. No, it’s also on a mission—like an interstellar Marie Kondo—it wants us to toss out our damaging patterns that aren’t sparking joy (or anything else constructive for that matter). Sounds straightforward right? Well, remember, we're in the realm of the cosmos, where "straightforward" is about as common as a three-headed alien.

So, what does this mean? It's time for some celestial spring cleaning! But here's the catch: Pluto's version of decluttering involves a touch of demolition. I'm talking metaphorical dynamite, figurative wrecking balls—the whole shebang. So, as you embark on this journey of cosmic construction and deconstruction, remember to wear your hard hat and be mindful of what you're blowing up. Trust me, it’s easier to tear down a metaphorical wall than to rebuild it—especially when you've misplaced the instruction manual in another galaxy.

So, as Pluto pirouettes prograde in the pragmatic party of Capricorn, remember: Be intentional, be ambitious, but above all, be ready for a universal laugh or two. After all, we’re just stardust navigating this cosmic comedy called life.

Confusion, uncertainty, and delusions of grandeur characterize this transit. Be alert for deception. Avoid becoming the martyr today just because your self-confidence may be low. Don't buy into every sob story that comes your way and don't play the "poor, poor pitiful me" game. Be careful with contracts. In general, be prepared for any kind of possible misunderstanding. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Neptune often struggle with a desire to be something special or to experience something more than the ordinary. They are day-dreamers and idealists. It is easy for these people to trust others, even (and perhaps especially) people who might seem from the outside looking in as unsavory types. They are looking to identify with something beyond what is normally expected of people. Most have in common a childhood that didn’t help the natives direct or define their lives. Perhaps the early family life was lacking in supervision or clearly defined rules. A father figure may have been absent or distant and ineffective. Many people with these aspects have a glorified image of their fathers. Whether the image is very positive or very negative (or if it swings between these extremes), the image is not very clear or rational. Whatever the case may be, these people struggle with defining who they are. They might gravitate towards the “wrong people”, or get in with the “wrong crowd” in an attempt to define who they are. They might be susceptible to being taken advantage of by others, especially by men or authority figures. They can be easily led astray by peculiar desires or self-destructive habits. In order to add a greater-than-ordinary dimension of experience to their lives that helps them to feel special and important, they might be attracted to Neptune-ruled behaviors, such as secret affairs, drugs, or other escapist behaviors. In some way, these people feel a strong urge to glamorize their role in the world. In extreme cases, the natives are completely deluded. However, in most cases, there is simply some confusion about the past (such as remembering childhood experiences in ways that are far removed from reality), and a tendency to daydream about being someone more “important” than they assume they are. They may struggle with early conditioning that made them feel tossed aside or neglected in some way, and certainly not directed and supported. These people are very sensitive, especially with regards to any real or imagined blows to their ego. If the natal chart shows a strong sense of reality and a robust mind (Mercury and Saturn well-placed, for example), the negative interpretations of this aspect are less extreme. Still, the natives are likely to recognize at some point in their lives that they have a tendency to engage in escapist and self-destructive fantasies and/or habits. It is useful to be able to connect these behaviors with their probable source, which is likely to be a weakly-defined ego and identity in childhood. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Cameron Diaz; Oppositions – Sheena Easton.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
