Solar activity remained at low levels. Region 3513 (N18W28, Dao/beta) showed signs of decay in its trailing spots this period, losing some magnetic complexity. Region 3414 (N10W22, Dao/beta) continued to undergo evolution as it exhibited overall growth while producing a C9 flare at 12/0338 UTC, and a C8 flare at 12/1342 UTC which were the largest of the period. Region 3518 (N13E75, Hsx/alpha) was identified and numbered this period, but was quiet. The remaining active regions were quiet and otherwise unremarkable as well.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is very high, making retrograde effects extremely increased!

Solar wind parameters were slightly enhanced this period under likely periphery-like influences from the 08 Dec filament eruption and tenuous positive polarity CH HSS connection. Total field increased from 3 to 13 nT before settling around 5-7 nT. The Bz component underwent a southward deflection reaching -12 nT beginning around 12/1134 UTC, but has since oriented northward. Solar wind speeds increased gradually from near 300 km/s to near 350 km/s. Phi was predominantly positive. .Forecast... Periodic weak enhancements are expected through 15 Dec due to positive polarity CH HSS influence. An additional enhancement is possible by midday on 15 Dec due to weak CME influences from the aforementioned partial halo event of 11 Dec.

There is a 40% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Sagittarius

Oh, stardust sprinklers! The Moon is hanging out in Sagittarius today, about 374,304.322163671km away, give or take a few light years. It's like shooting an apple off someone's head, but hey, it's space! Distances are more of a suggestion than a rule, you get me? Now, Sagittarius, the cosmic archer, is known to be a bit of a wild child, always seeking thrills and adventure. So, don't be surprised if you start feeling the urge to do something a tad impulsive today. Maybe order that extra-large pizza with the weird toppings or try on that neon green shirt you've been too scared to wear. Embrace the fiery energy of Sagittarius and let your freak flag fly high! But remember, just like your favorite sci-fi series, this too shall pass. In the next 24 hours, our dear Moon is packing its bags (and its cheese, can't forget the cheese!) and moving on to the stoic and disciplined Capricorn. So, while you may feel like a hyperactive squirrel today, by tomorrow you'll be channeling your inner Yoda - wise, calm and probably using confusing sentence structures. So, lace up your moon boots, dear stargazers, and get ready for a celestial rollercoaster ride. And if you see E.T., tell him I'm still waiting for my phone call!

Mercury

Mercury is in Capricorn

Mercury Is In Capricorn

Ahoy, stargazers! Grab your calculators and tie-dye lab coats because it's time to talk about Mercury in Capricorn. Now, not only is this celestial event a mouthful to say, but it's also a mathematical wild ride. Imagine, Mercury is currently a whopping 121105375.941697523km away from us. That's far enough to make your frequent flyer points look like pocket change! Capricorn, the CEO of the zodiac world, is welcoming Mercury into its office, and folks, it's not for a casual cup of cosmic coffee. When Mercury clocks in under Capricorn's watch, we're all going to feel a sudden urge to color-code our dreams and alphabetize our hopes. Expect your mind to turn into a pinball machine of productivity, bouncing around brilliant business plans and practical proposals. This transit is like a celestial Marie Kondo, clearing up useless thoughts and sparking joy in the ones that bring us closer to our goals. Conversations become as sharp as Occam's razor, cutting through the fluff and getting straight to the point. However, don't forget to sprinkle a little sugar on your words. Capricorn's influence can make us sound more like corporate overlords than friendly conversationalists. One of the best things about Mercury in Capricorn is how ideas suddenly start making sense. You know that messy mental jigsaw puzzle you've been struggling with? Well, get ready because the pieces are about to align like a perfect Tetris game. And once they do, it's action time, baby! However, remember to keep an eye on the ego-meter. Capricorn's acute awareness of hierarchies might make us act like we're in an episode of Game of Thrones, vying for the Iron Throne of Ideas. Let's not forget, too much worrying about who's the boss can turn our celestial office into a cosmic battlefield. So, buckle up, fellow stargazers, as we ride the Mercury in Capricorn wave. Let's make the most of this transformative transit and remember, the universe doesn't make mistakes... well, except maybe for pineapple on pizza.

Hold onto your space helmets, folks – things are about to get intense! Now, Venus, that shiny disco ball in the sky, is all about relationships, socializing, and spreading some good old fashioned affection. It's like the cosmic equivalent of a friendly hug. Scorpio, on the other hand, is the passionate, deep-diving diver of the zodiac. It's like the James Bond of star signs, always ready to dive headfirst into love, stirring up a cocktail of passion and intensity. So, what happens when Venus decides to cha-cha with Scorpio? Well, my friends, we start craving meaningful and intense experiences. We trade in our popcorn flings for a full cinematic love saga. We go from sipping on light beer to gulping down a full-bodied vintage wine. Love gets a little obsessive, as if we've suddenly been cast in a cosmic soap opera where we're compelled to go all-in on matters of the heart. But Venus in Scorpio isn't just about turning up the heat in our love life. It's also about shining a torch on the dark corners of our relationships. Those thoughts you've been pushing aside, like a pile of unwashed laundry? They're about to come out, clean and crisp. It's a time to dig beneath the surface, unearth the truth, and hold it under the spotlight for a reality check. Oh, and let's not forget about the power struggles and money concerns! Venus in Scorpio is like a financial advisor who's also a relationship counselor. Subtle issues become more obvious, like a neon sign in a dark alley. How you spend your money might just become the next hot topic of debate at the dining table. Venus in Scorpio sounds intense, right? But remember folks, a bit of pressure can create diamonds. All this intensity can lead to a stronger bond. So, if you're up for this emotional and physical roller coaster ride, this could end up being a transformative and sizzling time that brings you closer to your partner. So buckle up, star travellers! Venus in Scorpio is not just a celestial event, it's a cosmic journey into the depths of love and relationships. Happy voyaging!

Mars In Sagittarius: The Cosmic Wild West

Hold onto your telescopes, star gazers! Our celestial neighbor Mars has decided to take a cosmic road trip to the wide-open plains of Sagittarius. You know, the galactic cowboy with a penchant for optimism and no concept of boundaries. Now imagine that cowboy is on a caffeine bender, and you've got yourself Mars in Sagittarius.

Think of Mars as your internal engine, the little red planet that could. It's all about action, drive, and the occasional bout of interstellar road rage. Sagittarius, on the other hand, is like the world’s most enthusiastic tour guide, always pointing out the infinite possibilities just over the horizon. Put these two together and you've got the cosmic equivalent of a motivational speaker on rocket fuel.

While this interstellar field trip is going on, expect to feel a bit more optimistic, a tad more adventurous, and possibly the urge to wear cowboy boots. You might even find yourself taking on challenges with the gusto of someone who's been there, done that, and got the t-shirt from the gift shop. But remember, even though we're all feeling a bit like space explorers, don't forget to pay attention to the here and now, or you might trip over your own telescope.

Warning: objects in the mirror may appear more impulsive than they actually are. While Mars is playing cowboy in Sagittarius, we’re all more likely to leap before we look. It's like having a pair of rose-tinted spectacles permanently attached to your face. Remember, moderation is not just a river in Egypt.

During this cosmic shindig, you might feel the need to soak up everything like a knowledge-hungry sponge. It's a prime time to remain open, maybe even crack open a few books or learn about different belief systems. You'll be amazed at what you might discover - who knew knitting had so many stitches?

And speaking of discovery, Mars in Sagittarius is the best time for travel! And I’m not just talking about a trip to your local Starbucks. I mean seeking experiences that make your mind and heart feel like they've been through a cosmic car wash. But remember, travel doesn't always require a passport or an interstellar spaceship. Sometimes, just spending time with people from different walks of life or learning a new skill can

Jupiter In Taurus: The Cosmic Cash Cow Meets The Bull's Eye!

Alright folks, fasten your seatbelts because we're taking a cosmic roller-coaster ride into the world of celestial finances where Jupiter, the cosmic sugar daddy, is currently chilling in Taurus, the zodiac’s version of Warren Buffet. Now, I'm no mathematician but if you add the two together, you've got some serious cosmic cash flow on your hands!

When Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and lottery winnings, teams up with Taurus, the zodiac sign equivalent of a trust fund baby, it's like a cosmic pep rally encouraging us to dig deep into our spiritual piggy banks. This isn't about seeking some Zen master on a mountaintop, oh no! It's about realizing that we’ve been the Zen master all along! And boy, do we need it in this world filled with cat videos and infinite scrolling.

Now, don’t take this as an excuse to camp on your couch dreaming about being Elon Musk’s next best buddy. Jupiter in Taurus ain’t about daydreams, folks! No siree! It's about putting on your big person pants and getting down to business! It's like having Tony Robbins in your ear saying, "You got this, champ!" while Taurus, our celestial Simon Cowell, keeps you grounded yet motivated to achieve real, tangible success.

And let's talk money, honey! With Jupiter, our cosmic Willy Wonka, in Taurus, the zodiac's Wall Street. This transit is like a green light on the cosmic stock market. It's time to review our financial portfolios and invest in those intergalactic Bitcoins. But remember, Taurus loves the high life and Jupiter has a tendency to spoil us rotten, so we might have to watch out for going overboard. By that, I mean no buying gold-plated rocket ships or diamond-studded alien pets!

So, in true Taurus fashion, while you might be tempted to live like a Kardashian, remember to balance your cosmic checkbook and resist the urge to splurge on every shiny object. Keep calm, carry on, and remember, folks, the stars may influence us, but they don't write our destinies.

Saturn

Saturn is in Pisces

Saturn is prograde at 01 Pis 48' 11", moving at 0.06 degrees per day, and is 1499222001km away and receding.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Let's Talk About Saturn in Pisces, Baby!

Okay, my celestial surfers, it's time to dive into the cosmic soup again. This time, we've got Saturn - the grand old man of the planetary line-up and the universe's favorite strict uncle - deciding to take a vacation in the dreamy, watery world of Pisces. It's like Mr. Spock suddenly joining a poetry slam night at the local coffee shop. It's not his usual scene, but hey, he might surprise us all!

Now, when stern Saturn paddles out into the deep waters of Pisces, things don't always go swimmingly. He's busy checking the structural integrity of your daydreams and occasionally asking overly personal questions about them. You might feel defensive, like you just caught him reading your secret diary. But remember, he's not doing it to be nosy. Saturn's just trying to help you turn those dreams into reality. So maybe let the old guy in and listen to what he's got to say. He's wiser than he looks (and he looks pretty darn wise).

But here's the kicker: Saturn in Pisces might mess with your Zzzs, too. With all this focus on dreams, both waking and sleeping, you might find yourself lying awake at night, staring at the ceiling and wondering why you can't just fall asleep already! The key is to stay calm, my friends. Meditate, take a walk, breathe deeply - maybe even indulge in a midday siesta if you're feeling particularly European. Just remember to keep a dream journal by your bedside. Who knows, your next big idea might come to you in a dream!

So strap in, space cadets! While Saturn in Pisces might sound like an episode of "The Twilight Zone," it's actually a fantastic opportunity to turn our dreams into reality. So, charge up those imaginations, tighten your seatbelts, and let's make the most of this cosmic confluence!

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 19 Tau 54' 43", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 2807425424km away and receding.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Good stars above, my cosmic comrades! The celestial shenanigans are in full swing as Uranus, that quirky uncle of the solar system, has parked its cosmic caravan in the down-to-earth driveway of Taurus. Now, I know what you're thinking: "But, Uranus is like 2.8 billion kilometers away, how does that affect me?" Well, sit tight on your asteroids, and I'll explain! Taurus, bless its bull-headed heart, likes things steady, stable, and as exciting as watching paint dry. But Uranus? It's the cosmic equivalent of a teenager with a learner's permit – it loves big, sudden, hairpin changes! Picture Taurus sipping chamomile tea, and Uranus barging in with a triple-shot espresso. It's that wild. Now, Taurus is the Warren Buffet of the zodiac – loves its cash and securities. With Uranus' seven-year sleepover here, we might just see money evolve faster than a Pikachu on a sugar rush! We could be trading holographic bitcoin, or banks might become as outdated as floppy disks. Stock markets? Prepare for a shake-up that would make a martini jealous. On a more personal level, prepare to redefine your relationship with money. You know, those pesky little things like debt, taxes, rent, and that credit card bill that haunts your dreams. Uranus has come waving the flag of financial freedom. Digging your heels in won't help, trust me - I tried that once during a Mercury retrograde, and... let's just say it wasn't pretty. Uranus is that eccentric teacher pushing us towards a new kind of stability – one that might just last longer than your last diet attempt. So buckle up, star gazers! Change is coming, whether we’re ready or not. All we can do is hold on, adapt, and perhaps find a way to enjoy this cosmic roller coaster. After all, the universe has a funny way of landing us right where we need to be.

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is prograde at 24 Pis 54' 05", moving at 0 degrees per day, and is 4461093674km away and receding.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Well, hold on to your space helmets, folks! I got news for you that is gonna hit you like a moon pie in the face. Our good ol' pal Neptune, currently around 4,461,025,307.338725090km away (give or take a few meters), is hunkered down in Pisces and let me tell you, it's shaking things up more than a rattlesnake at a square dance. Now, I don't mean to alarm ya, but this ain't just some ordinary cosmic event. This is like if Einstein decided to throw a tea party in the middle of a black hole. It's a merging of Piscean emphasis on emotion and spirit with Neptune’s knack for unifying everything. Suddenly, your world's gonna start making about as much sense as a horse riding a bicycle... which is to say, a whole lot in this wacky universe. Under this transit, petty differences seem trivial, like arguing whether Star Trek or Star Wars is better. (We all know Firefly takes the cake). The golden nugget of truth here is unity. We're all just stardust hitching a ride on this big blue marble, after all. Neptune in Pisces is giving each of us a cosmic nudge, like the universe saying in its gentle way, "Hey buddy, whatcha gonna do to make this spaceship Earth a better place?" Maybe you've got a cure for the common cold up your sleeve, or perhaps you've figured out how to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Whatever it is, now's your time to shine brighter than a supernova. Feeling the urge to explore your spiritual side? Don't fight it. Embrace it like a long lost alien cousin. Take that yoga class you've been thinking about, or set up a meditation station in your living room. Just remember, no need for a fancy setup. A beanbag and some good vibes are plenty. And don't fret about sharing these newfound ideas with the world. With Neptune in Pisces, you've got cosmic backup. So go out there, chase your dreams, and remember, in the grand scheme of things, we're all just tiny specks floating in an infinite universe... so don't sweat the small stuff.

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is prograde at 28 Cap 48' 39", moving at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 5337860399km away and receding.

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Pluto In Capricorn: Galactic Game of Thrones Edition

Alright, stargazers, buckle up your asteroid belts because we're diving into the cosmic chaos that is Pluto in Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Pluto? Isn't that just a tiny, cold, far-off dwarf planet that had its planetary status revoked like a badly behaved rock star?" Well, yes, but remember, it's not the size of the celestial body in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the celestial body.

So, here we have Pluto, the little troublemaker of our solar system, sidling up to Capricorn, the disciplined taskmaster of the zodiac, and it's like a cosmic episode of Game of Thrones. Only, instead of dragons and knights, we've got planets and constellations.

When Pluto and Capricorn get together, they're both so goal-oriented they could run a self-help seminar. They're like the cosmic equivalent of that friend who gets up at 5 am to do yoga and drink green smoothies while you're hitting the snooze button for the fourth time. It's all about power and achievement, baby!

However, be careful not to tread on the stardust-covered toes of others in your quest for universal domination. Pluto and Capricorn aren't known for their empathy, so keep those communication lines as open as a wormhole to avoid any intergalactic misunderstandings.

And remember, Pluto is all about transformation - like a cosmic Marie Kondo, it wants us to declutter our life from outdated patterns. It's the perfect time to look at your life and say, "Does this habit spark joy? Or does it just spark existential dread and anxiety?"

So go forth, space cadets, take this transit as a chance to focus on your goals, but remember - as much as we'd all like to be the center of the universe, it's important to respect the orbits of others. And always remember, no matter how far away Pluto is (and it's really, really far), its influence can be felt right here on our little blue planet.

Current Planetary Positions

The Sun

Sun Conjunct Moon

Your individuality and personality seem at one today. You feel like you really know and understand yourself and what it is that you want and need to do. Today might be a good day to shine light on your unconscious attitudes and habit patterns with the hope of improving your weak points. Change the areas of your personality that you aren't satisfied with.

The Sun

Sun Square Neptune

Confusion, uncertainty, and delusions of grandeur characterize this transit. Be alert for deception. Avoid becoming the martyr today just because your self-confidence may be low. Don't buy into every sob story that comes your way and don't play the "poor, poor pitiful me" game. Be careful with contracts. In general, be prepared for any kind of possible misunderstanding. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Neptune often struggle with a desire to be something special or to experience something more than the ordinary. They are day-dreamers and idealists. It is easy for these people to trust others, even (and perhaps especially) people who might seem from the outside looking in as unsavory types. They are looking to identify with something beyond what is normally expected of people. Most have in common a childhood that didn’t help the natives direct or define their lives. Perhaps the early family life was lacking in supervision or clearly defined rules. A father figure may have been absent or distant and ineffective. Many people with these aspects have a glorified image of their fathers. Whether the image is very positive or very negative (or if it swings between these extremes), the image is not very clear or rational. Whatever the case may be, these people struggle with defining who they are. They might gravitate towards the “wrong people”, or get in with the “wrong crowd” in an attempt to define who they are. They might be susceptible to being taken advantage of by others, especially by men or authority figures. They can be easily led astray by peculiar desires or self-destructive habits. In order to add a greater-than-ordinary dimension of experience to their lives that helps them to feel special and important, they might be attracted to Neptune-ruled behaviors, such as secret affairs, drugs, or other escapist behaviors. In some way, these people feel a strong urge to glamorize their role in the world. In extreme cases, the natives are completely deluded. However, in most cases, there is simply some confusion about the past (such as remembering childhood experiences in ways that are far removed from reality), and a tendency to daydream about being someone more “important” than they assume they are. They may struggle with early conditioning that made them feel tossed aside or neglected in some way, and certainly not directed and supported. These people are very sensitive, especially with regards to any real or imagined blows to their ego. If the natal chart shows a strong sense of reality and a robust mind (Mercury and Saturn well-placed, for example), the negative interpretations of this aspect are less extreme. Still, the natives are likely to recognize at some point in their lives that they have a tendency to engage in escapist and self-destructive fantasies and/or habits. It is useful to be able to connect these behaviors with their probable source, which is likely to be a weakly-defined ego and identity in childhood. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Cameron Diaz; Oppositions – Sheena Easton.

Mercury

Mercury Sextile Venus

The pursuit of light pleasure gives happiness today. Spend time with friends in harmonious conversation. Go see a museum or go to an art gallery. Activities involving music are favored. Artistic stimulation of the mind is the keynote today. You are polite, choosing your words with care and love so as not to offend anyone. Your tactfulness stems from a distaste for disharmony and conflict. You are not always direct and honest as a result of this desire to please, appease, and keep the peace. You are able to understand others and make a great conversationalist. You aim for fairness in your dealings with others. You have a true appreciation for the arts, and strive to achieve balance and harmony in your social relationships, your writing and speech, and your personal environment. You might do business in the areas of art, design, relationships, counseling, or beauty. Some Famous People with Mercury Sextile Venus: Walt Disney, Sylvia Plath, George Sand, Alison Moyet, Peter O’Toole, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Jerry Lewis.

Mercury

Mercury Trine Jupiter

Your mental judgment is excellent today. Plans you make are well thought out, broad, and focused on seeing both the details and the larger picture. Travel, both mental and physical should be rewarding today. Take care of all legal issues and contracts as the force is with you today. Make long range plans now.Your ideas are big and your intentions noble. You are excellent at seeing the big picture, drawing conclusions, problem solving, and making accurate observations. You love to learn, and spend your life actively absorbing information. Many of you make good teachers with your sincere love of learning and sharing ideas with others. You are also very positive in your communications, readily inspiring others with what you say and how you say it. You are skilled at turning information into an advantage, and in some ways seem to be quite lucky. You are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, and naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking–in fact you have a huge distaste for it. You are generally at ease conversing with people from all walks of life. You might be especially attracted to learning other languages and learning about foreign cultures. Travel is something that you are strongly attracted to.You are very tolerant, generous and optimistic. You always see the positive side of situations and you are very respectful of the traditions and opinions of others. You have a lot of ability for organizing and planning enterprises. You enjoy traveling and any other activity that helps expand your mind. You possess an ease of communication and the facility of learning other languages. — from the Adult report. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Jupiter have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Jupiter: Trines – Jennifer Aniston, Lucie Arnaz, Tom Berger, Wade Boggs, Tony Curtis, Kirk Douglas, Lou Ferrigno, Sean Flannery, Marilyn Manson, Groucho Marx, Jim Morrison, Jack Nicholson, Diana Ross, Yves Saint-Laurent, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oprah Winfrey.

Venus

Venus Opposite Jupiter

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. You seek a strong philosophical connection to match the physical passion. Faithfulness is a key factor if your relationship is to support your spiritual growth, and trust has to work both ways in the partnership. Some Famous People with the Venus in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Jason Alexander, Pearl Buck, Julia Child, Joe Cocker, Sean Connery, Alice Cooper, Billy Corgan, e.e. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
