Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3429 (N11W09, Dai/beta) produced two C7.4 flares at 15/0046 UTC and 15/0309 UTC, the strongest of the period. Slight decay was observed among its intermediate and trailer spots. Newly numbered Region 3434 (N08W01, Hsx/alpha) was mostly quiet and stable. No significant growth was observed in the other numbered active regions.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters suggested a transition to weak influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength steadily decreased from 8 nT to 5 nT. No significant periods of southward Bz were observed. Solar wind speed were in overall decline, from ~475 km/s to ~450 km/s by the end of the period. Phi angle was predominantly negative.

There is a 20% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Libra

Greetings, stargazers, you galactic adventurers! I come to you with cosmic news of great import - our ever-fickle Moon has balanced itself into the sign of Libra! Now you might be thinking, "Why should I care about the Moon's current Airbnb, and why is it a whopping 401,991.371962280km away?" Well, my interstellar friends, let's put on our celestial thinking caps, shall we? Libra, as some of you will know, is all about balance. It's like the universe's favorite tightrope walker, always trying to keep everything on an even keel. And our moon? Oh, she's just decided to join the circus act! When the Moon sidles up to Libra, it's like when E.T. tried to eat Reese's Pieces for the first time — a little bit of confusion, a little bit of wonder, and a whole lot of, "Wow, this is unexpectedly sweet!" So, expect some surprises in your life. Maybe you've been feeling like a lost alien who's struggling to phone home, or perhaps you've been building a communication device out of a Speak & Spell. Either way, with the moon in Libra, it's time to find your balance, embrace the sweet and unexpected, and maybe share a Reese's Piece or two with a friendly face (extraterrestrial or otherwise). And remember the distance? Yeah, that's just a reminder of how tiny we are in the grand scheme of things. So, no pressure there! Take this time to reflect, balance your life, and don't get too hung up on the small stuff. After all, in the cosmic circus, we're all just trying to walk that tightrope. So, here's to ET, Reese's Pieces, and a moon that's far, far away but still close enough to influence our lives in the most unexpected ways. And remember, in the words of our favorite extraterrestrial, "Be good." Happy stargazing!

Mercury

Mercury is in Virgo

Mercury is prograde at 08 Vir 01' 00", moving at 0.07 degrees per day, and is 116776490km away and receding.

Mercury Is In Virgo

Greetings, celestial voyagers! It's time to buckle up because Mercury, the universe's cosmic courier, has just parked its spaceship in the diligent sign of Virgo. Yes, my star-loving friends, this is the equivalent of Spock conducting a ship-wide systems check - it's all about logic, details, and no-nonsense communication. You see, Mercury in Virgo turns our minds into supercomputers, capable of processing information at warp speed and spitting out only the most useful data. This isn't your grandma's dial-up connection - we're talking broadband in the brain, baby! Imagine you're at a cosmic buffet, filled with juicy tidbits of knowledge and gossipy morsels. Virgo's influence means you'll be able to digest it all, separating the wheat from the chaff, the prime rib from the mystery meat. You'll then regurgitate it in a way that even a Cylon could understand. However, don't get too carried away with your newfound analytical prowess. There's a fine line between being detail-oriented and becoming a nitpicking naysayer. With Mercury in Virgo, we can become so obsessed with perfection that we turn into a bunch of cosmic killjoys. Remember, nobody wants to hang out with someone who points out the flaws in their starship design instead of admiring the shiny chrome finish. So, while Mercury is doing its thing in Virgo, use your enhanced awareness to make some real progress. But, try not to critique every little thing in sight. Life is too short for that, even if you're an ageless Battlestar commander. To sum it up, let's embrace Mercury in Virgo as a chance to refine our thoughts, improve our communication, and upgrade our overall understanding of the universe. And remember, you can't spell 'universe' without 'nerd'. Happy stargazing, folks!

Venus

Venus is in Leo

Venus is prograde at 14 Leo 53' 12", moving at 0.42 degrees per day, and is 62944205km away and receding.

Venus Is In Leo

Phone home, folks, because Venus is phoning it in from Leo! Now, in nerd terms, that's about 62,898,441.321396403km away, give or take a nanometer or two. And no, I didn't just make up that number; it's what my trusty pocket protector and calculator tell me. So buckle up earthlings, because we're about to go on a celestial joyride! When the cosmic goddess of love, Venus, struts her stuff into the limelight of Leo, it's like a Broadway musical in the sky. You know, with all the jazz hands and high notes. It's a time when we find ourselves belting out "Can't Help Falling in Love" in the middle of a supermarket aisle, or writing anonymous love letters to our crushes in invisible ink. Because, what's love without a little drama? With Venus in Leo, simply being liked is as unsatisfying as eating tofu at a barbecue. We crave adoration, applause, and maybe even a standing ovation. It's a time for grand romantic gestures, like spelling 'I Love You' with alphabet soup or serenading your beloved with a ukulele. In this cosmic climate, playing it safe is as exciting as watching paint dry. But be warned, fellow star gazers. Venus in Leo isn't all rainbows and unicorns. Leo can be a drama king or queen, and if we feel like we're not getting our share of the spotlight, we might have a diva moment. Remember, there's no 'I' in 'we.' If you focus too much on yourself, you could end up alone, eating that alphabet soup by yourself. And let's talk about money. When Venus is in Leo, money is like Monopoly currency—it’s all about making you and your loved ones feel like you've hit the jackpot. Leo loves the glitz and glamour, so it's a great time to splurge on that velvet Elvis painting or diamond-encrusted cat collar. But remember, Leo is also about generosity. So, spreading the wealth can be more satisfying than a triple scoop of your favorite ice cream. Venus in Leo is like a cosmic carnival—it's bright, it's exciting, and it's a little bit wild. So, embrace the energy and remember: life without fun is like a horoscope without the stars. Enjoy the ride, earthlings!

Mars

Mars is in Libra

Mars is prograde at 12 Lib 45' 59", moving at 0.66 degrees per day, and is 377209882km away and receding.

Mars Is In Libra

Well, my celestial comrades, strap on those Birkenstocks and prepare to tip-toe through the tulips of interplanetary diplomacy because Mars, our cosmic warlord, has just RSVP'd "yes" to the Libra soirée. And if you're anything like me, you're probably thinking, "Isn't that like inviting Darth Vader to a peace rally?" Yes, my friends, it's exactly like that. Now, for those of you not versed in Astrological Star Wars, let me break it down for you. Mars, our fiery planet of motivation, and Libra, the zodiac's peacemaker, are normally as compatible as a Trekkie at a Star Wars convention. But during this transit, they're teaming up like a pair of mismatched buddy cops in a 90's action flick. With Mars playing nice in Libra's house, we're about to witness an astrological paradox of epic proportions. It's like if Spock suddenly became the life of the party or if Yoda started speaking in clear, grammatically correct sentences. But brace yourselves, because we're also shifting into a "less talk, more rock" kind of vibe. That means, instead of impulsively starting arguments like a rabid squirrel on caffeine, we're making love, not war - quite literally - with Mars’ typically aggressive energy softened by Libra's diplomatic charm. But don't get too relaxed. This cosmic combo could lead to some serious denial. You might want to act like everything's groovy, but let's be real here – just because we're all wearing rose-colored glasses doesn't mean those aren't stormtroopers on the horizon. However, this is also a time when we can channel our inner Obi-Wan and tackle difficult conversations with a newfound grace and love. It's less about avoiding conflict and more about solving it with the precision of a lightsaber duel. Remember, the force is with you. Unfortunately, there's a dark side to this transit too. Mars' need for action might clash with Libra’s 'slow and steady wins the race' motto, leaving us stuck in a cosmic conundrum like Schrödinger's cat. But remember, as long as we're acting with love, intention, and fairness, we are making the right moves. So, buckle up, my star gazers. This journey to Mars via Libra might be as tricky as navigating an asteroid field, but remember – it's not the distance to Mars that matters

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter is retrograde at 15 Tau 21' 12", moving backwards at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 641374603km away and approaching.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

The Big J in Bull Territory

Alright, my celestial explorers, brace yourself because Jupiter, our gas giant neighbor, has decided to set up camp in Taurus - and it's no small feat. I mean, we're talking about a planet that could fit 1,300 Earths inside it, now hanging out in the sign of the Bull. And let me tell you, this is like having a sumo wrestler decide to do a ballet performance. It's going to get interesting!

Jupiter is all about wisdom, deep thought, and probably enjoys a good crossword puzzle on Sundays. Now, it's in Taurus, the zodiac equivalent of that one friend who would rather binge-watch their favorite show than go out. Combine these two, and what do you get? A reminder that the answers we seek aren't hiding in a distant galaxy but are chilling right here, next to the remote control.

Need a nudge towards realizing your dream? Jupiter in Taurus has got your back. This transit is like a cosmic espresso shot - it kickstarts your motivation, makes your to-do lists look less terrifying, and even makes you believe that, yes, you can actually reach your goals. Just remember to trust the process. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither were your IKEA furniture sets.

Now, since Jupiter is our lucky star and Taurus is the Bill Gates of the zodiac, this cosmic combo could make it rain, literally and figuratively. So, it might be a good time to check your financial health, or at least buy a lottery ticket. But remember, Taurus does love the high life and has a hard time saying "no" to those Amazon lightning deals. So, try not to confuse needs with wants...unless it's a limited edition Star Trek collectible. In that case, resistance is futile.

So, while Jupiter is doing the cosmic cha-cha in reverse (yes, it's retrograde), remember to stay grounded, keep an eye on your finances, and maybe indulge a little. Because let's face it, when a planet 318 times the mass of Earth swings by Taurus, you know things are about to get real!

Saturn

Saturn is in Pisces

Saturn is retrograde at 02 Pis 22' 40", moving backwards at 0.07 degrees per day, and is 1319648195km away and receding.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Phew, folks! Saturn is moonwalking its way through Pisces right now and let me tell you, it's making us all feel like we're swimming in a sea of daydreams and nailing down the blueprint of those grand plans. You know that book you've been visualizing? Or that cute little bakery you've always wanted to open? Well, let's just say that Saturn is your cosmic life coach, ready with a whistle and a clipboard, shouting, "You got this!" Saturn in Pisces is going to have you breaking out the spreadsheets, comparing loan options, and maybe even drafting a business plan. Yes, I know. It sounds like a ton of work. But guess what? The universe has faith in you, and so do I. Now, I'm not saying this is going to be as easy as pie. Or even cake. (Mmm... cake.) Because Saturn, being the planetary parent it is, tends to barge into our dream space without knocking. And we might not appreciate this unscheduled visit. We might want to hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our mental door, but listen up, Saturn is just trying to help tidy up our dreams. So let's be grown-ups about this, open the door and hear what Saturn has to say. While Saturn's hanging around in Pisces, which is all about sleep and dreams, you might find yourself tossing and turning more than usual. But don't panic! This is the perfect time to Zen out. Meditate, take a walk in nature, do some deep breathing, or even take a nap. Just remember to keep a dream journal handy. You never know when these dreams might turn out to be the golden ticket to your success! And hey, don't forget to get a good night's sleep. Maybe even hit the hay a little early. You've got a lot of cosmic wisdom to absorb during this transit. Saturn in Pisces is like a cosmic all-you-can-eat buffet, folks. So grab a plate and start filling up!

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is retrograde at 22 Tau 56' 20", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 2858080983km away and approaching.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Reality TV Show: Uranus Takes On Taurus!

Picture this: Uranus, the cosmic rebel, has just moved into Taurus, the zodiac’s favorite couch potato. It's like Star Trek meeting The Big Bang Theory - an intergalactic clash of cultures! Taurus loves its creature comforts, while Uranus is all about shaking things up. It's like trying to mix oil and water, or a trekkie and a Star Wars fan at a Comic-Con convention.

What's going to happen? Well, Uranus is notorious for throwing curveballs. And let me tell you, if there’s one thing Taurus doesn't appreciate, it's a surprise fastball when they were all set for a leisurely game of catch. But hey, sometimes we need a little chaos theory in our lives, right? Even if it does result in a few cow-shaped statues being knocked over.

Now, let's talk about money - Taurus' favorite subject after food and naps. With Uranus in town, we can expect some serious shake-ups in the financial department. We're talking revolutionary ways of handling cash, radical new currencies popping up like mushrooms after a rainstorm and possibly even banks getting a makeover. This might sound scary, but remember, even Sheldon Cooper embraced change... eventually.

On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like that friend who convinces you to finally get rid of your collection of vintage floppy disks. It's about breaking free from the chains of materialism and rethinking how we value things. Debt, rent, credit card interest, taxes - these are not the boss of you! Uranus is here to liberate us from our financial fetters. Resistance is futile.

It might feel uncomfortable at first, like trying to do the Vulcan salute with your non-dominant hand, but the changes Uranus brings can lead to greater stability. And remember, as they say in the Starfleet Academy: "Change is the essential process of all existence." So embrace it! After all, Uranus in Taurus is here for a good time, not a long time. Let's make the most of it!

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 26 Pis 21' 37", moving backwards at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 4323768774km away and approaching.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Alright, folks! Buckle up your asteroid belts because the big blue Neptune has gone all "retro" on us and decided to kick back in Pisces for a while. But, hey, don't go reaching for your telescopes just yet, we're talking about a whopping 4323771570.167529106km away. Yeah, that's right. You'd need a Millennium Falcon to get there before your next birthday. So let's dive into this cosmic soup. Neptune in Pisces? It's like a Jedi using the force to see past the differences among Ewoks, Wookies, and Droids. Suddenly, it's not about who has the most midi-chlorians in their bloodstream or who shot first in the Cantina, but about what we all bring to the interstellar table. Doesn't matter if you're a smuggler-turned-hero with a heart of gold, or a princess undercover, we've all got something to contribute to our collective cosmic casserole. Maybe you're a master of lightsaber yoga, or you've got a knack for droid repair. Whatever your gifts are, they're needed in this galaxy far, far away. Feeling spiritual? Good! Because now's the time to explore that side of the force. Set up your own little Dagobah in your living room, complete with Yoda's hut and swamp. Connect with the midi-chlorians within you, and share your experiences with others. Just like a good old Jedi mind trick, Neptune in Pisces is here to guide us on this journey. And remember, folks, the force will be with us, always... especially when Neptune is lounging in Pisces. So, until next time, may the stars be with you!

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is retrograde at 28 Cap 02' 03", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 5126205443km away and receding.

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Pluto In Capricorn: A Galactic Comedy Skit

Hey, star gazers! The cool dwarf planet, Pluto (and nope, I'm not here to argue about its planetary status) is hanging out in the serious and ambitious sign of Capricorn. Picture Yoda at a corporate board meeting, or Spock running a motivational boot-camp. It's just like that!

Pluto's got its retrograde sneakers on, so it's moonwalking its way through the cosmos at the moment. You know what that means? It's spring cleaning time...in space! But instead of dust bunnies and old clothes, we're chucking out those pesky negative patterns. Just imagine them as evil aliens and you're the Doctor zapping them with a sonic screwdriver.

Capricorn, our cosmic goat-fish hybrid, usually loves a good plan. But with Pluto there, they're both shouting, "Results, not excuses!". So, beware of channeling your inner Dalek and becoming intolerant of others' ideas. Remember, even the Doctor needs his companions!

The combo of Pluto and Capricorn is like a cosmic construction company, destroying old, rickety beliefs and structures, and building skyscrapers of personal growth. Just make sure you’re not throwing away the baby with the bathwater, or in this case, the TARDIS with the Time Vortex.

So, strap on your cosmic hard hat, folks. It's time to get to work, have some fun, and remember, be kind! Because in this vast universe, all we have is each other. And the occasional Time Lord, of course.

Current Planetary Positions

The Sun

Sun Trine Uranus

Today is a good day to pour your creativity and self-expression into coming up with new ways of doing things. Positive surprises are likely today as your aura is ready for the new and unusual. By going off the beaten pathway, you may open up many possibilities for further spiritual and personal growth. You feel free today from all restrictions and you want to fly like the eagle, unbounded by any restraints. Soar high and don't limit yourself.

The Sun

Sun Opposite Neptune

Confusion, uncertainty, and delusions of grandeur characterize this transit. Be alert for deception. Avoid becoming the martyr today just because your self-confidence may be low. Don't buy into every sob story that comes your way and don't play the "poor, poor pitiful me" game. Be careful with contracts. In general, be prepared for any kind of possible misunderstanding. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Neptune often struggle with a desire to be something special or to experience something more than the ordinary. They are day-dreamers and idealists. It is easy for these people to trust others, even (and perhaps especially) people who might seem from the outside looking in as unsavory types. They are looking to identify with something beyond what is normally expected of people. Most have in common a childhood that didn’t help the natives direct or define their lives. Perhaps the early family life was lacking in supervision or clearly defined rules. A father figure may have been absent or distant and ineffective. Many people with these aspects have a glorified image of their fathers. Whether the image is very positive or very negative (or if it swings between these extremes), the image is not very clear or rational. Whatever the case may be, these people struggle with defining who they are. They might gravitate towards the “wrong people”, or get in with the “wrong crowd” in an attempt to define who they are. They might be susceptible to being taken advantage of by others, especially by men or authority figures. They can be easily led astray by peculiar desires or self-destructive habits. In order to add a greater-than-ordinary dimension of experience to their lives that helps them to feel special and important, they might be attracted to Neptune-ruled behaviors, such as secret affairs, drugs, or other escapist behaviors. In some way, these people feel a strong urge to glamorize their role in the world. In extreme cases, the natives are completely deluded. However, in most cases, there is simply some confusion about the past (such as remembering childhood experiences in ways that are far removed from reality), and a tendency to daydream about being someone more “important” than they assume they are. They may struggle with early conditioning that made them feel tossed aside or neglected in some way, and certainly not directed and supported. These people are very sensitive, especially with regards to any real or imagined blows to their ego. If the natal chart shows a strong sense of reality and a robust mind (Mercury and Saturn well-placed, for example), the negative interpretations of this aspect are less extreme. Still, the natives are likely to recognize at some point in their lives that they have a tendency to engage in escapist and self-destructive fantasies and/or habits. It is useful to be able to connect these behaviors with their probable source, which is likely to be a weakly-defined ego and identity in childhood. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Cameron Diaz; Oppositions – Sheena Easton.

Venus

Venus Sextile Mars

Harmony in social activities is highlighted today. Activities with the opposite sex are enjoyable and rewarding. Romance is in your blood. Show someone you care for them. They will appreciate your sharing your feelings. Clean your house and do that redecorating you had planned. Make your surroundings more beautiful. It is easy for these people to attract attention of the positive kind. They radiate charm, vitality, and enthusiasm on some level that others appreciate. Not inclined to try to cover up their flaws, these people have a way of presenting themselves in a straightforward manner, and their ability to admit their mistakes and their fumbles only adds to their charm. They find it easy and natural to get along with both sexes quite equally. They possess considerable creative talent, but whether or not they use it is dependent on other factors. They may take their own talents for granted and often need some kind of stimulus or encouragement to do something with them. One of the reasons for this is the fact that their creativity comes so naturally to them that they may be surprised when others recognize their talents. Similarly, they usually possess athletic ability and may need some encouragement to develop it.The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Venus and Mars have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently.Interpretation sample from the Karmic Insight report — Actively creating harmony and beauty through your work, art, or with people is part of what you are here to do. You have developed a harmonious coordination between the masculine and feminine energies within yourself; thus, you combine strength with grace, power with elegance, decisiveness and effort with pleasure, passion with tenderness and sensitivity. You have a romantic soul. Some positive expressions of this pattern might include athletic activities that have an aesthetic appeal, such as figure skating, or artistic endeavors that are active, such as performing dance or opera singing.Actively bringing people together in some way, for mutual pleasure and benefits, is also one of your gifts. Some Famous People with Venus in Harmonious Aspect to Mars: Sextiles – Pamela Anderson, Shannen Doherty, Ian Thorpe, Harry Belafonte, Kirk Cameron, Francis Ford Coppola, Jane Curtin, Matt Damon, Robert DeNiro, Harrison Ford, Erich Fromm, Crispin Glover, Elliott Gould, Amy Jo Johnson, Bob Newhart, Molly Ringwald, Robin Williams; Trines – Melissa Anderson, Jason Bateman, Pierre Cardin, Natalie Cole, John Coltrane, Mick Jagger, Ann Jillian, Billie Jean King, Marilyn Manson, Joe Montana, Bonnie Raitt, Eva Mendes, Britney Spears.

Venus

Venus Square Jupiter

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. You seek a strong philosophical connection to match the physical passion. Faithfulness is a key factor if your relationship is to support your spiritual growth, and trust has to work both ways in the partnership. Some Famous People with the Venus in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Jason Alexander, Pearl Buck, Julia Child, Joe Cocker, Sean Connery, Alice Cooper, Billy Corgan, e.e. Cummings, John Denver, Michael J. Fox, Andy Gibb, Linda Goodman, Jim Jones, Jessica Lange, David Lynch, Dolly Parton, Tom Paxton, Robert Redford, Lynn Redgrave, Oral Roberts, Maria Shriver, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, Jon Voight, Betty White; Oppositions – Drew Carey, Billy Ray Cyprus, Victor Hugo, Quincy Jones, Tom Selleck, Cat Stevens.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
